GEORGIA V SCOTLAND

5pm It’s the final International Break of the season on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE, and it’s crunch time in Euro 2024 qualifying over the next few days. Thankfully for Scotland, that isn’t the case for them as they are already qualified from Group A along with Spain. That leaves them heading into the final round of games with no pressure and they can just enjoy the moment. It’s likely we’ll see some players rested as they travel to take on Georgia, and that has resulted in a much more open market.

Scotland still come into the game as the favourites, but they aren’t odds on. They are trading 2.26 with Georgia 3.5 and the draw is 3.4 at the time of writing. Scotland have been absolutely superb in qualifying, and they fully deserve to go through! They have a five point advantage over Norway, and with Norway only having one game left (against Scotland), things couldn’t have gone better for Scotland. Georgia have been very average in qualifying; they’ve only managed seven points from their six games but they do have a place in the playoffs thanks to the Nations League.

They topped a C Group with Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Gibraltar in it to get that playoff spot, but Scotland have been playing at a different level lately. It will be interesting to see what kind of XI Scotland name here; they have the same amount of points as Spain so the chance is still there to top the Group and that would be a superb achievement. At the same time, this is also a nice chance to see some of the younger players and give fringe players a chance. We might see some big market moves on the team news, and that’s something to watch out for.

From an outright point of view, this is definitely a game for small stakes given the situation. Georgia have been playing average football; Scotland beat them 2-0 comfortably when the sides met earlier in the Group, but obviously Scotland don’t need a result here. Georgia have a good record at home; they managed to hold Norway to a 1-1 draw here but they were hammered by Spain 7-1 – obviously Spain are at a completely different level though! It’s hard to have a strong opinion on the goals market – Georgia don’t have to sit back and defend for a result, they are free to attack and try to win the game. As I said above, this is definitely a game for small stakes but I feel the best option is a Scotland lay at 2.26 – I just feel given the situation we’ll see a closer game than the odds suggest.

The Ultra Says:
One point lay (liability) Scotland to beat Georgia at 2.26 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
