8pm We finish the Last 16 in the Coppa Italia on Thursday night as Inter Milan clash with Udinese on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. There’s a big gulf in class between the sides here, and it’s fair to say most football fans will be expecting a comfortable Inter Milan win given they have home advantage. They come into the game as the red-hot favourites at 1.35 with Udinese 10.0 and the draw is 5.8 at the time of writing. We’ve had plenty of goals in this round, and Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.63 which will appeal to many.
Inter had an excellent 6-0 win at the weekend over Lazio – that was a very impressive result given Lazio have been playing very well this season and they had just beaten Napoli twice in a week. Inter have been in excellent goal scoring form though; they’ve scored 14 goals in their last three Serie A games. They have the second best attacking figure in Serie A this season behind Atalanta who top the table – we’re going to have a very interesting title race in my opinion! Inter have also been excellent at the back; they have the second best defensive figure with an average xG conceded just under 1.0.
When you compare the sides on under-lining numbers, Udinese could be in for a difficult evening. Udinese have a mid-table average xG created in Serie A, but they have been poor at the back. They are in the bottom six on defensive figures, and they have also been a little sloppy at the back conceding over that figure. They meet an in-form Inter side here, and although there’s no prizes for tipping a 1.35 shot, I can’t see past a win for Inter and I would happily include them in any midweek Acca.
We’ll have to look around the side markets for some value, and Over 2.5 goals is a very tempting bet at 1.63. However, I expect Inter to do most of the work there, and I fancy Inter to cover the handicap here. They are trading 1.95 to cover the 1.5 goal handicap and that looks a cracking bet in my opinion. I’m not going to go too crazy with the stakes because they might opt to rest some players given it’s a Cup game, but it’s a confident bet for me.
