THURSDAY COPPA ITALIA: The Ultra previews LAZIO v NAPOLI with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

8pm The Coppa Italia is the focus on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE from Europe on Thursday! We have a cracking fixture between Lazio and Napoli, and this should be an excellent game. Both sides have been in great form in Serie A this season with Napoli sitting top of the table after winning at the weekend again. Lazio lost Parma which was a disappointing result, but they do have the third highest attacking figure in Serie A this season so it’s hard to knock them. They played poor football last season but they have clearly been working on how to get better going forward.
With Inter Milan the strongest side in Italy this season and their focus on the title and the Champions League, you’d have to say there’s a very good chance for either of these sides to land a trophy. We have a very open betting heat with Lazio the favourites at 2.51, Napoli are trading 3.05 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing. Napoli have been getting some deserved luck in front of goal this season after finishing last season in mid-table with the highest attacking figure! I don’t think anyone can begrudge Napoli scoring from a few awkward angles this season, but you have to say that their performance level isn’t in line with a side sitting top of the table in Serie A.
They have a mid-table average xG created figure, but they have been very impressive at the back. They have an average xG conceded of just 1.07 which is the third best defensive figure in Serie A this season – closely behind them are Lazio with a figure of 1.08 though. We have two excellent sides at the back here, and this is bound to be a very close game. The draw will be a popular bet at 3.3 and I couldn’t put anyone off that bet. Another nice option here is Under 2.5 goals at 1.73.
Lazio have over-performed in front of goal, and under-performed at the back so their Serie A games have had plenty of goals. Over 2.5 goals has actually collected in 12 of their 14 Serie A games – a stat like that would definitely put me off the Unders option, even if I expect a very close game here. I’m happy to keep stakes small, and in what should be a close game, the draw looks the best position at 3.3.
