BAYER LEVERKUSEN V MAINZ

7.30pm We have some huge midweek fixtures from Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE this week! Atalanta v Juventus is definitely the highlight of Tuesday night from Serie A, but we kick off the evening with another cracker as Bayer Leverkusen host Mainz in the Bundesliga. We’re back in full flow in Germany now after the Christmas break, and Leverkusen came through a tricky away fixture on Friday night as they beat Dortmund 3-2 away from home. After a very lacklustre start to the season, they have now built some nice momentum – but they still need Bayern Munich to drop points somewhere to make the title race interesting. The gap is still four points, and Leverkusen just have to keep winning games and see what happens. Mainz have been having a good season given they are in the mix for a top four spot – they are massively over-performing though. It’s no surprise to see Leverkusen come into this game as the odds on favourites with home advantage. Xabi Alonso’s men are trading 1.46 with Mainz 7.6 and the draw is 5.2 at the time of writing. You have to give Mainz credit for getting as many results as they have done, but their under-lining numbers are quite poor.

Mainz have an average xG created of 1.33 this season which is a mid-table Bundesliga figure; they have been massively over-performing in front of goal because their actual goals scored average is 1.88. Not only that, but they are over-performing at the back too; their average xG conceded is 1.46 which is again a mid-table figure but sides haven’t been taking their chances against them. Leverkusen have found their mojo have a slow start, and they’ve put six wins together now while scoring plenty of goals too. I couldn’t put anyone off a Leverkusen win here at 1.46 – I would happily include them in any midweek Acca at that price too. I’m going to aim for a bigger price here however; Mainz are there for the taking in my opinion and Leverkusen can win impressively. They can cover the handicap and they are trading 2.18 -1.5 goals which looks an excellent position – that’s worth a confident bet for me.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Bayer Leverkusen -1.5 goals to beat Mainz at 2.18 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ATALANTA V JUVENTUS

7.45pm We finish Tuesday night with a huge game from Serie A as Atalanta host Juventus! Atalanta have been having an excellent season and been bang in the title race; two draws from their last two games either side of the New Year was a huge blow though, and then they didn’t make it past the Semi-Final in the Italian Super Cup in Saudi Arabia last week either. They would have been very disappointed not to beat Udinese on Saturday – Atalanta have the best attacking figure in Serie A this season but it seems like Inter Milan have the momentum at the moment. I actually felt Inter would run away with the title in Serie A this season, but it’s been a fascinating race with Napoli involved too! Juventus are the only side to remain unbeaten in Serie A this season, but don’t let that stat fool you. They are massively off the pace; they’ve had 12 draws from their 19 games this season so their backers haven’t collected that often even if they are unbeaten! Juventus have obviously been exceptionally strong at the back and tough to beat – their average xG conceded is under 1.0 – but they’ve really struggling to create good quality chances too.

Juventus have an average xG created of 1.38 this season, which is a mid-table figure in Serie A so it’s not surprise to see them out of the top four and miles off the title race. Atalanta come into the game as the favourites at 2.2 with Juventus 3.75 and the draw is 3.45 at the time of writing. Atalanta have obviously played the better football compared to Juventus this season – it’s no surprise to see them involved in their title race looking at their performance figures – but I was still surprised to see them trading 2.2. That’s a little short in my opinion; I know Juventus have been limited going forward this season but there’s no getting away from the fact that they have been very difficult to beat and that they aren’t conceding too many chances. I feel the Atalanta price is creating a bit of value on the draw and that looks a nice bet at 3.45 for a small investment. Another option is Under 2.5 goals at 1.8 in what should be a tight game, but I like the draw here.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Draw at 3.45 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
