BUNDESLIGA/LA LIGA PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s Bundesliga / La Liga games between WERDER BREMEN v DORTMUND and REAL MADRID v ATHLETIC BILBAO both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

WERDER BREMEN V DORTMUND

7.30pm We have some fantastic midweek fixtures in Europe this week and it should be a very interesting week on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Dortmund have caught my eye in recent weeks as their results have been pretty poor. It feels like they should be further away than just six points off top spot, but Bayern are leaking points too and Bayer Leverkusen top the Bundesliga! Dortmund massively over-performed last season – you only have to look at their xG figures to see that they were scoring more than they deserved to based on chances created and maybe that is finally catching up with them this season. I must say though I don’t think many of us expect the 5-1 hammering by Stuttgart at the weekend – they were at home too!

They have a great chance to get back to winning ways quickly against an out-of-form Werder Bremen side who have lost three on the bounce after a run of 1-1 draws. They have been giving away plenty of chances and although they had a lot of 1-1 draws, their games have had a lot of chances. Dortmund like to play an open game too and looking at the prices, I much prefer over 2.5 goals at 1.65 than the Dortmund win at around the same price given the football they have been playing this season. I’d expect an open game here with mistakes at the back, and overs looks a value call.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.65 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange

REAL MADRID V ATHLETIC BILBAO

9pm Real Madrid are back in action quickly after an excellent win at the weekend over Atletico Madrid. That was massive for them, as a loss would have put them nine points behind Atletico with Atletico having a game in hand. As it stands they still aren’t in the position they want to be; but they are a hell of a lot closer after a win. Real have been tricky to call this season as they have been so up-and-down – not as up-and-down as Barcelona but they have had some very surprising losses. The 4-1 to Valencia came from nowhere for example. Only Real Sociedad and Atletico Madrid sit above them however even with three losses, and those two have to play each other after this round of fixtures.

Athletic Bilbao are a solid mid-table club. They usually finish in or around 10th give or take a few positions and this season should be no different. Real should easily beat them really, and although they have had some very strange performances this season it’s hard to get away from the 1.52 on offer. I don’t see a better value bet in the goals market than Real to win, however stakes have to be adjusted down given some of the lacklustre displays we’ve seen from Real. Nevertheless, this should be a straightforward home win as Bilbao haven’t been great this season.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Real Madrid to beat Athletic Bilbao at 1.52 on BETDAQ Betting Exchange
