CHAMPIONS LEAGUE PREVIEW: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews Tuesday’s Champions League Quarter Final games between CHELSEA v PORTO and PSG v BAYERN MUNICH both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
CHELSEA V PORTO
8pm It’s crunch time in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League as the second legs start on Tuesday night. We have a massive night ahead and although all eyes might be on PSG v Bayern Munich, that doesn’t mean we can’t find value on Chelsea v Porto on with BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Chelsea came out 2-0 on top in the first leg, and although xG said the game was very close, Porto find themselves in a very tough position now. It would be a huge shock to see anything other than Chelsea going through here, and with Porto having to attack from the start I can really see their tactics suiting Chelsea here. I feel Chelsea look massive at 1.84.
I know Crystal Palace are a very poor side in the Premier League, but Chelsea warmed up nicely for this fixture with a 4-1 win at the weekend with an xG of 3.37. Porto are six points off top spot in Portugal this season, and while they have been reasonably solid in the Champions League, you always felt they were there for the taking against the top sides. Juve had enough chances to knock them out and couldn’t. Chelsea definitely look the stronger side on paper here and although the first leg was a lot closer than the score line reflects, I feel the situation plays massively in Chelsea’s favour here. Chelsea have the perfect side to pick off Porto on the counter here as Porto have no choice but to attack – they can’t sit back and just exit the tournament. Over 2.5 goals might be of interest to many here, but I can’t look past Chelsea at 1.84.

PSG V BAYERN MUNICH
8pm A massive game. A fascinating game! We saw one of the most remarkable games in the Champions League this season in the first leg. PSG finished the game 3-2 ahead but Bayern absolutely dominated the game – they had chance after chance and just couldn’t take them. They finished the game with an xG of 4.28 and it’s not often you see such a high xG between two top sides. Obviously Bayern have their work cut out tonight as they are a goal down, but for me there’s only one winner here. Bayern were much the better side in the first leg despite the result and they can dominate the game again tonight. The 2.28 looks very big and I’d have them closer to 2.0.
PSG haven’t been at their best this season. They usually have the French league won at this stage of the season but they are three points behind Lille. They’ve had a manger change and while that should bring improvement in the long-term, they just haven’t been as good as they usually are this season. I feel the score line in the first leg here has papered over some obvious cracks. After all, they gave away an xG of 4.28. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Bayern win by three or more goals but the 2.28 is so big I’m happy not to look elsewhere. I’m sure you could get some very good prices on the handicaps, but Bayern are a Max Bet for me at the odds. I feel all the under-lining numbers point to a Bayern win here.
