TUESDAY CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: The Ultra previews BAYERN MUNICH v PSG, MANCHESTER CITY v FEYENOORD and SPORTING LISBON v ARSENAL all with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
BAYERN MUNICH V PSG
8pm The Champions League is back and we have a blockbuster Tuesday night on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. We actually have some brilliant fixtures this week; Liverpool hosting Real Madrid on Wednesday night might be the highlight, but we start Tuesday with a bang as Bayern Munich host PSG. These two clubs are absolutely cruising along to a domestic title – PSG haven’t been beaten yet in France and Bayern Munich are also unbeaten in the Bundesliga six points clear. They are both really struggling in the Champions League though, and this is a huge fixture for both sides. Bayern have only managed six points from their four games, and they are highly likely to be in the knockout round. PSG are currently sitting just outside the top 24 with just four points from their four games. Exiting the tournament at the Group stage would be a massive embarrassment for a club like PSG! Bayern Munich come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.63 with PSG 5.3 and the draw is 4.8 at the time of writing. It would be a surprise if we didn’t see goals here, and the market is expecting an entertaining game with Over 2.5 goals trading 1.46.
You don’t need me to point out that the loser here will be in a very poor position. PSG still have to play Manchester City too; although everyone is beating them at the moment! You wouldn’t be worried about Bayern Munich getting knocked out, after this fixture they have three relatively easy fixtures on paper. PSG have opted to go with no major star this season, and while domestically that is working they have been coming up well short in the Champions League. The draw at home to PSV was obviously very disappointing, and the loss to Atletico Madrid. Bayern Munich have been playing to an exceptionally good level this season – their average xG created is over 2.0 and their average conceded is only 0.64. That’s the best defensive figure from the top leagues in Europe. With home advantage, it’s hard to see past a Bayern win and at 1.63 I feel we’re getting a huge amount of value here. At the odds, I’m happy with a five star NAP to start the night!

Five points win Bayern Munich to beat PSG at 1.63 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

MANCHESTER CITY V FEYENOORD
8pm Next we have Manchester City hosting Feyenoord, and all the chat will be around this City side now they have lost five games in a row. That’s the first time that’s happened in Pep Guardiola’s career, and as Gary Neville said at the weekend on Sky Sports there’s more to it than just missing Rodri now. It will be fascinating to see how City respond – this is probably the biggest crisis they’ve been in since Guardiola took over, and it’s not really even a major crisis compared to other sides. Although they’ve been on a poor run, this is a game that they should win on paper and it would be a massive shock if we saw anything bar a comfortable win for City. They come into the game trading as the red-hot favourites at 1.23 with Feyenoord 14.5 and the draw is 8.2 at the time of writing. I have to say, even allowing for the huge gulf in class between the sides here, you wouldn’t exactly be rushing to include City in any midweek Acca at the prices here given their poor run. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here and look around the side markets for some value.
Feyenoord are already eight points off top spot in the Eredivisie, but they are in with a shout of getting through to the playoffs in the Champions League as they sit in 21st at the moment. They have been very solid at the back domestically, but outside of the top sides it is a pretty weak league. In the Champions League from four games, they have conceded more chances than they have created. They 3-1 loss at home to Salzburg was very disappointing, but their four games have all had plenty of action – they all had Over 3.5 goals land. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.42 so the market is expecting plenty of action here, and Over 3.5 goals is trading 2.06 which is a tempting bet. Another tempting bet is Both Teams To Score at 1.99 given how many issues City have had at the back this season – Spurs absolutely ran through them at the weekend, but obviously Feyenoord aren’t quite that quality. I’m going to take a chance on BTTS though, just keep stakes low.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 1.99 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

SPORTING LISBON V ARSENAL
8pm We finish Tuesday night with another fascinating fixture as Sporting Lisbon host Arsenal. This is another fascinating fixture, Ruben Amorim has obviously been all over the UK media since taking the Manchester United job, but he has left Sporting Lisbon in an excellent position. They come into this week sitting in second place, just two points behind Liverpool. Undoubtedly the highlight was their win over Manchester City in the last Champions League matchday, they hammered them too. They are sitting top of the Liga Portugal, but that isn’t a surprise – this is going to be a massive test for Arsenal. We have a reasonably open betting heat – Arsenal are the favourites at 2.38 with Sporting Lisbon 3.2 and the draw is 3.65 at the time of writing. Arsenal went into the International break on a bad run, and the International break probably came at a good time for them to reset. Much has been made about their fanbase moaning about decisions going against them, but they have been conceding a lot more chances this season compared to last – it’s no surprise they’ve been getting into difficult situations.
Sporting Lisbon really impressed against Manchester City, and although there’s an obviously gulf in class between the leagues and also you have to consider that Ruben Amorim has moved gone, but I still feel that the 2.38 is a little short on Arsenal here. This Sporting side is absolutely fantastic going forward, and with Arsenal having some issues at the back this season I fully expect a closer game than the odds suggest here. Apart from the Arsenal lay, another option to consider here is Over 2.5 goals at 1.84 – I know Arteta has gone a bit negative at times this season, but I do expect an open and attacking game here. Arsenal actually haven’t had that much drama in their Champions League games though – all four have had Under 2.5 goals win so that stat does put me off the Overs option. I do feel Arteta could set up Arsenal a little negative here, and Sporting will see a lot of the ball – I don’t see a better bet than the Arsenal lay in my opinion, and at 2.38 I’m happy with a confident bet.
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Arsenal to beat Sporting Lisbon at 2.38 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
