TUESDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews INTER MILAN v LAZIO and BARCELONA v ATLETICO MADRID both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
INTER MILAN V LAZIO
8pm We might have a break in the Champions League and Europa League action as we wait for the Last 16, but we have another busy week around Europe on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE. We have some top class Cup and domestic action all over Europe this week – we kick off Tuesday night with some huge clashes in the Coppa Italia and the Copa del Rey. We start the evening with Inter Milan hosting Lazio in the Coppa Italia Quarter-Final; we should have a cracking game here. Inter have been dropping a few points in the Serie A title race recently, but it was a great weekend for them as Napoli lost meaning Inter now top the table. Readers will know that Napoli have been massively over-performing this season so them dropping points hasn’t been a surprise – now Inter have a one point advantage and you’d expect them to kick on from there. Inter Milan come into this tie as the odds on favourites at 1.63 with Lazio 5.9 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. Lazio have also been having a great season – they are currently in a battle for the top four but after back-to-back draws, hey have given the momentum to Juventus.
Lazio have the fourth best attacking figure in Serie A this season, and they are in the top five on defensive figures so they pretty much deserve to be in that battle for fourth spot. There isn’t much in it at all looking at the under-lining numbers, but Inter Milan have been marginally better in every area this season. Their average xG created is 1.67 compared to Lazio at 1.59. Their average xG conceded is 1.09 compared to Lazio at 1.15. If this was a two legged affair like the Semi-Finals you’d expect Lazio to be very cagey here, but they have to come out of their shell at some point. I can’t see them wanting an open game though all things considered, and Under 2.5 goals looks over-priced at 2.2 in my opinion. Lazio did get tonked 6-0 by Inter Milan in December though! I’m going to keep stakes small here – never a bad idea in Cup football to be honest – but I would still personally have Unders a little shorter in what should be a very close and tight game.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 2.5 goals at 2.2 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

BARCELONA V ATLETICO MADRID
8.30pm Next we move over to the Copa del Rey Semi-Final as Barcelona host Atletico Madrid. The Spanish schedule at this stage of the season is actually incredible – we have an International break in March so we actually won’t play the second legs of the Copa del Rey until April! That’s a massive gap for a two legged tie – these two are locked in a title race at the top of La Liga too at the moment so we should have two very entertaining games ahead. There’s also a mental edge on offer given there’s so little between the sides in the title race. Barcelona come into the first leg as the odds on favourites at 1.77 with Atletico Madrid 4.7 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. Unlike the Coppa Italia clash above, you just know that Diego Simeone and Atletico Madrid will approach this first leg in a very cagey fashion. A draw here would be a good result for them, and then take their chances with home advantage in the second leg. Barcelona seem to have found their mojo again after recording just one win from eight La Liga games starting back in November.
A 7-1 win over Valencia kicked off a run of five straight La Liga wins to put them back on top of the table, and they also won the Spanish Super Cup in Saudi Arabia too – that break probably came at a good time. Barcelona have been playing much better football compared to Atletico this season – their average xG created is 1.83 compared to Atletico at just 1.46. Where Atletico have excelled this season is at the back – they have conceded the least amount of goals in La Liga this season, less than one a game on average with another clean sheet recorded at the weekend. Atletico actually won 2-1 here back in December a few days before Christmas, and although they were outplayed they managed to grind out a 1-1 draw in the Madrid Derby recently. I know Barcelona have got their form back recently, but I still feel the 1.77 is a little short here against an Atletico side that have been very tough to beat this season. I’m happy with the home lay.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Barcelona to beat Atletico Madrid at 1.77 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
