EURO QUALIFIERS: The Ultra previews the Euro Qualifiers between SCOTLAND v GEORGIA and ICELAND v PORTUGAL both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SCOTLAND V GEORGIA
7.45pm We finish the last International Break of the 2022/23 season on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE on Tuesday. There’s two interesting markets to focus on, and we start the evening with Scotland hosting Georgia. This is a huge game for Scotland with home advantage, and another win would really give them a massive boost in the race for second. It’s already been an incredible International Break for them after they managed to beat Norway 2-1 on Saturday. We saw incredible scenes as Scotland were 1-0 down heading into the final three minutes but goals in the 87th and 89th minute turned the game on the head and really gave Scotland a superb chance of finished second. Let’s not forget they have already beaten Spain too! Obviously Spain were busy in the Nations League Finals this International break, so at the moment Scotland top the Group with nine points while Georgia are sitting in second with four. You would have thought Spain would top this Group and then it was a battle for second between Scotland and Norway – maybe we have a battle for first between Scotland and Spain!
Scotland couldn’t come into this game in a better place in fairness, and they are odds on to win. They are trading 1.52 at the time of writing with Georgia 8.8 and the draw is 4.3. Georgia managed to pick up a draw with home advantage against Norway, and you would have expected them to beat Cyprus albeit away from home. Georgia are in the nice position of already being assured of a playoff place, as they are unlikely to finish in the top two here. They were very impressive in the Nations League, but they were in a C Group so the quality of opposition was low. They finished behind Spain, Sweden and Greece in World Cup qualifying and I’d have Scotland ten ticks shorter here. They have been playing excellent football lately and not only that, the squad has unbelievable belief in themselves – they score an incredible amount of late goals. Hampden Park will be rocking again, and the 1.52 is a confident bet for me for Scotland to really put themselves in pole position with four wins from four games.
The Ultra Says:
Four points win Scotland to beat Georgia at 1.52 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

ICELAND V PORTUGAL
7.45pm Next we go to Group J to finish Tuesday night as Iceland hosting Portugal. Just like Scotland above, Portugal have made the perfect start to qualifying with three wins from three games. However, it’s a little bit more expected with Portugal! At the moment you’d have to say that this Group is going to plan with Portugal sitting top and Slovakia in second – anything else would be a surprise to be honest but Bosnia and Herzegovina will be disappointed with one win from three games. That’s the same record as Iceland who are also struggling, however at least Bosnia and Herzegovina are assured of a playoff place thanks to the Nations League. Portugal have been ticking the games off nicely here, and they are in good goal scoring form recently. Their three wins have been 4-0, 6-0 and 3-0. Iceland had a confident boosting 7-0 win over Liechtenstein but this is a completely different level now. Portugal come into the game as the heavy odds on favourites – they are trading 1.36 at the time of writing with Iceland 11.5 and the draw is 5.6. Iceland had their moment in the sun against England at Euro 2016 but they have gone backwards a lot since. They were blown out of World Cup qualifying finishing behind the likes of North Macedonia, Romania and Armenia.
They were pretty average in the last Nations League too – they were in a B Group with Israel, Albania and Russia only managing four draws and not getting a win. Portugal were in a Group with Spain, Switzerland and Czech Republic and nearly topped it too. There’s a big gulf in class between the sides here, and I feel it’s a case of how many goals will Portugal score rather than will they win. Indeed, I couldn’t put anyone off including Portugal at 1.36 in an Acca today. Portugal have been in such good form in front of goal I like them to cover the 1.5 goal Handicap here. They trading around 2.0 at the moment and that looks cracking value to finish the season. It’s been a fantastic and enjoyable season, and thanks for reading all my previews. We’ll be back very soon when football returns!
The Ultra Says:
Three points win Portugal -1.5 goals to beat Iceland at 2.0 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
