TUESDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews Tuesday’s matches between MALLORCA v ALAVES and INTER MILAN v AC MILAN both including a recommended BETDAQ bet.
MALLORCA V ALAVES
6pm We had a superb run of midweek European football with the Champions League and Europa League, and now we have a great week ahead of domestic football on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. We have action tonight from La Liga and the Coppa Italia over in Italy. Obviously Inter Milan v AC Milan is the headline fixture tonight, but we start the evening in La Liga as Mallorca host Alaves. This is a huge relegation battle, although Alaves have a huge amount of work to do as they sit bottom of the table. Levante were nailed to the bottom of the table for most of the season but their results have finally started to reflect their performances and now they have a chance of staying up. This has obviously caused problems for Alaves too, and then Mallorca are under massive pressure too. They eased that pressure with a shock win over Atletico Madrid too weeks ago, but they went back to losing ways at the weekend with a 3-0 loss to Elche. That means they have lost eight of their last nine games, and that’s what has put them in trouble – to be honest it’s hard to see where the Atletico win came from!
This is going to be a low quality game of football, but you won’t beat the situation for drama! Mallorca will be glad to have a fixture like this at home because they have been much better at home. They have got most of their points at home, plus you can’t help but feel confident when you see the away record of Alaves. They only have eight points from 16 away games this season, and although they will be confident coming into this game after breaking a losing run at the weekend with a 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, that win came at home and Rayo Vallecano haven’t been good lately either. I’m keen to keep stakes small on a game like this, but Mallorca have a huge amount in their favour here. I think home advantage will have a massive say in this game, and Mallorca can claim a huge three points – this game could go a long way to deciding who stays up! The 2.28 is worth backing on Mallorca, but keep stakes small.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Mallorca to beat Alaves at 2.28 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

INTER MILAN V AC MILAN
8pm Next we move over to Italy for the Coppa Italia second leg of the Semi-Final between Inter Milan and AC Milan. I’m not quite sure why it’s taken so long to play the second leg, but it seems like a lifetime ago that the sides played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg. Indeed, you have to go back to the 1st of March for the first leg! With no goals in the first leg, obviously we have everything on the line here and given the sides are doing battle at the top of Serie A too that just adds to the spice. Both sides recorded smooth wins last Friday, with AC Milan comfortably beating Genoa 2-0 and Inter Milan beating Spezia 3-1 away from home. It looked like Napoli were going to respond with a 1-0 win over Roma on Monday to hang in the title battle, but I true Jose Mourinho fashion we had a dramatic equaliser very late for Roma. Now it looks like the title is between these two. There’s been a lot of drama at the top of the table in Italy this season, and it’s been great to watch. This is another massive clash to enjoy, and we should have a very even game here. The sides have already met twice in Serie A, with a draw and an AC Milan here – add those results to the first leg of this tie and you can clearly see there isn’t much between the sides here.
I feel we’ll have another very close game here. AC Milan have a two point advantage at the top of Serie A, but Inter Milan do have a game in hand too. Everywhere you look you can see there isn’t much between the sides. That’s why I was surprised when I saw Inter trading as short as 2.14 when I clicked into the market. I’m very happy to lay those odds as I fully expect a closer game than those odds reflect – betting is all about getting value prices and that really stands out a value bet. Looking at the stats, Inter Milan are creating more chances and scoring more goals, but AC Milan are better at the back – again there really isn’t much between them. Inter average 2.1 goals per game to AC Milan’s 1.8 for example. Of course it’s understandable that Inter are favourites because they are the bigger side, but they shouldn’t be as short as 2.14 in my opinion and I’m happy to be on the lay here.
The Ultra Says:
Three points lay (liability) Inter Milan to beat AC Milan at 2.14 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
