LA LIGA TUESDAY: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews two La Liga games on Tuesday with a recommended BETDAQ bet. It’s REAL SOCIEDAD V VALENCIA at 6pm and GETAFE V REAL BETIS at 8.30pm.

REAL SOCIEDAD V VALENCIA
6pm We start a midweek Matchday of La Liga on Tuesday night and we have some excellen fixtures throughout the week. It was a shame we had such a break in the season in 2019/2020, but with that delay the fixture list has been incredible. I’m just enjoying having top quality football on most days! We start with Real Sociedad hosting Valencia, with Sociedad being a confident bet for me at 1.67.
Valencia made wholesale changes in the summer after a very poor season, and at the moment from what I see it hasn’t made much difference. It is difficult for clubs because positive changes take time – especially when you don’t have limitless money to spend. Valencia will probably get worse before they get better. Even though they won their first game of the season, the signs were there looking at xG and then they have lost 2-1 to Celta Vigo when only creating an xG of 0.61 and drew 1-1 with La Liga new boys Huesca but lost on xG 1.44 to 0.40. Sociedad are an impressive side and they are a confident bet here to beat a poor Valencia side.

GETAFE V REAL BETIS
8.30pm This is an interesting fixture, and an interesting market! I think Real Betis offer a bit of value here at 3.5. Getafe look a little short at 2.42. Betis were involved in a 3-2 thriller with Real Madrid at the weekend, and although xG said that Real deserved to win and had an impressive xG – Betis played ok and created some good chances. That came off the back of two wins; perhaps lucky to beat Alaves but it was a tight game, probably should have finished a draw. While Getafe have only played two games, with a win and a draw.
Looking at xG would suggest Getafe haven’t created much. They have had two very tight games – they had an xG of 1.45 to 1.34 against Alaves and then 0.62 to 0.55 against Osasuna. They should have had two draws really, and I think Betis can outscore them here. I expect a pretty close game, as you would imagine between two teams of similar ability, however Betis at 3.5 jump off the page here. I’d have them a little under 3.0.
