TUESDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews a great night of La Liga action with BARCELONA v OSASUNA and REAL SOCIEDAD V REAL MADRID both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

BARCELONA V OSASUNA

6.30pm We have a cracking Tuesday night in La Liga on BETDAQ Betting Exchange! We have Barcelona and Real Madrid both in action, and we should have a brilliant evening ahead. We kick it off with Barcelona hosting Osasuna. Barcelona got back to winning ways at the weekend with a 4-0 hammering of Real Betis – that probably put the final nail in the Real Betis top four hopes, but Barcelona needed to steady the ship after losing to Rayo Vallecano. I don’t think the title win is in doubt, but they just need to finish the season strongly now and with confidence. Osasuna lost 2-0 to Real Sociedad who further enhanced their top four hopes, although they do have to play Real Madrid later. Osasuna are your classic mid-table side, but they are having a better than usual season as they sit up in eight. A top half finish would be a nice result for them, and something to build on. Although Osasuna have improved their placing this season, most football fans will fully expect a Barcelona win here. The market agrees with that, and the home side are currently trading as short as 1.23 at the time of writing. Osasuna are trading 17.5 for a shock win and the draw is 7.2.

Although Osasuna are higher in the table than they have been, their under-lining numbers aren’t too impressive. They like to keep games as tight as possible – the average number of goals in their La Liga games this season is only two. They don’t create a lot because their average xG created is only 1.2, and they conceded marginally more chances at an average of 1.4. Their actual goals scored is even less than 1.2, less than one per game. Barcelona have obviously had a superb season up front and at the back – their average goals conceded works out at 0.3 per game which is incredible. Up front they are creating an average xG of 2.2. I don’t feel he result is in doubt here, it’s just about how many goals Barcelona can score. I feel Osasuna will come into the game in a very negative fashion and defend. That makes the goal and handicap markets interesting because Barcelona are so short, the market expects an easy win. I feel Barcelona will have to grind out a win rather than an easy win to be honest. Under 2.5 goals looks good value at 2.39, but Both Teams Not To Score looks cracking value at 1.62. Osasuna won’t create a lot here, and I can see Barcelona having the ball for most of the game. Going forward Osasuna are limited, and we all know how strong Barcelona have been at the back.

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Both Teams Not To Score at 1.62 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL SOCIEDAD V REAL MADRID

9pm We finish Tuesday night in La Liga with a brilliant fixture as Real Sociedad host Real Madrid. Both sides recorded wins by two goals at the weekend with Real Sociedad beating Osasuna 2-0 and Real Madrid beating Almeria 4-2. Real Madrid aren’t quite in “party mood” because they can’t win the La Liga title, but the gap is so big I would suggest that they have “switched off” the full focus from La Liga and they are very happy to play an open and entertaining game. Their focus will be on the Champions League Semi-Final and Manchester City and the Copa del Rey Final soon. That’s back-to-back games with six goals, and they have been playing an open game for a while. For example they only scored twice against Cadiz, but they finished the game with an xG of 5.14! There could have been more goals in the game against Celta Vigo too. We landed a nice bet in the Real Madrid game at the weekend with Both Teams To Score, and that’s trading 1.8 here if you fancy it again. Over 2.5 goals is also an attractive price at 2.03 because it’s hard to see Real Madrid sitting back or creating a cagey game. We have a very open match odds market with Real Sociedad trading as favourites at the time of writing.

The home win is 2.6 with Real Madrid 2.96 and the draw is 3.55. The Copa del Rey Final is on Saturday where Real Madrid face Osasuna, so I can’t see Real Madrid risking anyone with a knock or anything like that here. That could definitely be a trading angle so keep an eye on the team news – we could easily get a second XI here. Sociedad have been pretty strong at home this season, and it’s not a surprise to see them trading as favourites given the situation. I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market here as I feel the odds are bang on, and I’m happy to get involved in goals again in a Real Madrid game. Real Sociedad have also been excellent going forward this season – their average xG created is 1.7 and they can find the net at some stage here. I like Both Teams To Score again at 1.8, and I can see another very open Real Madrid game.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Both Teams To Score at 1.8 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
