TUESDAY IN EUROPE: The Ultra previews SEVILLA v REAL VALLADOLID and REAL MADRID v ALAVES both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SEVILLA V REAL VALLADOLID
6pm The European fixtures are coming thick and fast on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have another midweek full La Liga fixture list – all the focus was on the Champions League last week, and we kick off the Europa League this week too but that doesn’t start until Wednesday night. No doubt all eyes will be on Real Madrid in the late fixture, but we start the evening with Sevilla hosting Real Valladolid. Sevilla dropped more points on Friday night when losing 2-1 away to Alaves – as I said in my preview of that game, Sevilla are creating a lot of chances and still struggling for results. You could write a book on them and still not find any answers. I was happy with a small bet supporting Sevilla on Friday but once again you have to ask the question; at what point do we just expect Sevilla to play well, create chances and just not get over the line? Their fall from grace in the top four has been quite dramatic, and this season looks like another season closer to the relegation battle than the European spots. Their average xG created is still in the top four however!
They face a very average Real Valladolid side here who will struggle to stay in La Liga again. They are already under pressure – five points from their opening six games leaves them in the relegation battle already. Their average xG created is only 0.95 which is the worst attacking figure in La Liga, and obviously that’s a massive red flag. They are even struggling to take those limited chances, and they’ve been conceding goals for fun – they would be one of my picks to go down after seeing the opening games anyway. Sevilla come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.82 with Real Valladolid 5.1 and the draw is 3.8 at the time of writing. That 1.82 is pretty big on Sevilla with home advantage given the level of Real Valladolid, but it’s also a sign of how little the market trusts them to be honest. Real Valladolid are definitely a side I want to be against, and Sevilla will create a lot of chances here – I know backing Sevilla comes with a wealth warning at the moment, but I’m happy to have a small position on them at 1.82.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Sevilla to beat Real Valladolid at 1.82 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

REAL MADRID V ALAVES
8pm We finish Tuesday night in La Liga with Real Madrid hosting Alaves, and this is a game everyone will be expecting Real Madrid to win. Mbappe and co come into the game as the red-hot favourites with the home win trading as short as 1.21 with Alaves 17.0 and the draw is 8.0 at the time of writing. That 1.21 is the shortest price of any side in the midweek round of La Liga fixtures – it’s not shorter than Real Madrid were at the weekend however! They went off at 1.16 to beat Espanyol and they delivered an easy 4-1 win. They have pretty much been perfect at home – they’ve dropped points twice away from home with two draws against Mallorca and Las Palmas – two games they should have won to be honest and two games that favourite backers got their fingers burnt. In terms of performance levels, it’s hard to knock Real – their average xG created is 2.12 which is superb and the best attacking figure in La Liga. Their average xG conceded is just 1.01 – they are title winning figures. Alaves came up from the Segunda players in 2022/23 and they have been pretty impressive – they finished tenth last season and they’ve also had a very position start to this season with ten points from six games.
Obviously there’s a huge gulf in class between the sides, but Alaves are no pushovers. Alaves’ under-lining numbers were mid-table last season and they are pretty much the same this season – they have turned into a classic mid-table La Liga side which is no mean feat considering they’ve only just came back up really. Their average xG created of 1.3 won’t trouble Real Madrid, but they do have an average xG conceded of only 1.13 which is impressive. Their aim will be to frustrate Real here – I can’t see Alaves winning but they might be able to hold out for a draw and I wouldn’t be including Real in a midweek acca at 1.21. I feel Alaves will be able to keep the score line respectable here, but obviously Real do play a very open game so I’m going to keep stakes low. Under 3.5 goals is worth backing at 1.66 in my opinion.
The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 3.5 goals at 1.66 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
