TUESDAY LA LIGA: Our European football tipster The Ultra previews ELCHE V ALAVES and LEVANTE V BARCELONA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ELCHE V ALAVES
7pm What a massive week in La Liga! We have some very important games at the bottom and the top of the table this week, and we’re bound to see a lot of drama in-running on BETDAQ Betting Exchange. Barcelona are in action later, but we start the evening with a huge game at the bottom of the table as Elche take on Alaves. Things have been very tight all season at the bottom of La Liga, and this is a real six pointer. There’s only five points between Getafe in 15th and Eibar in 20th, but Elche are in 19th on 30 points while Alaves are in 16th on 32 points. You don’t need me to point out how important this is, with a win for Elche being a massive setback for Alaves. They are “lucky” to have Real Valladolid and Huesca between them, but realistically they need to win here and stay in control of their own fate.
It’s not a surprise to see an open market, and although both sides have been playing poor quality football this season, as their place in the table reflects, this should be a good and competitive game. Both sides have been grinding out results lately to their credit, but apart from a few good performances from Elche – Alaves have been playing the better football recently. The xG table puts Elche bottom, while it doesn’t change position for Alaves and that’s a pretty fair view on the teams. Alaves have only lost once in their last six, actually a very important game against Eibar – but they have been creating some good chances and at 2.6 they are worth backing here to beat a very limited Elche side. I would expect a close game with only a goal in it, but Alaves should be shorter in my opinion looking at recent performances.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Alaves to beat Elche at 2.6 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange

LEVANTE V BARCELONA
9pm Now we move to the top of La Liga with Barcelona in action away to Levante. This is a game Barcelona should really win, and the market agrees as they are trading as short as 1.26. Levante have been on a poor run lately and they have slipped down to 14th in the table – they have always been outside the relegation battle, and perhaps that has been reflected in their recent performances in the sense that they have nothing to play for. Barcelona, on the other hand, have everything to play for. It was a dramatic week on paper at the top of the table with Barcelona playing Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid playing Sevilla – but a 0-0 and 2-2 draw means we’re basically back to where we start with a game less left. Barcelona are still two points behind Atletico Madrid who play tomorrow, and level on points with Real Madrid who play Thursday.
The game against Atletico Madrid was very even at the weekend and a draw was a fair result. There’s no doubt Atletico would have been the happier of the two sides to keep their advantage at the top of the table, especially given Barcelona have been playing much better football lately. I thought Barcelona would win easily, but credit to Atletico they stopped them in their tracks. The real disappointment recently for Barcelona was losing their game in hand to Granada, and now they can’t afford to drop anymore points. Levante have been giving away a lot of chances recently – if you look at their recent games you will see xG conceded figures of 1.5, 2.44, 1.96 and 1.90. Even though Barcelona were held by Atletico Madrid the weekend, this will be a different level and they should cover the handicap. The 1.7 -1.5 goals is worth backing given how good Barcelona have been playing recently.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Barcelona -1.5 goals to beat Levante at 1.7 with BETDAQ Betting Exchange
