THE ULTRA TUESDAY: The Ultra previews La Liga on Tuesday as Levante host Real Madrid including a recommended BETDAQ bet.
LEVANTE V REAL MADRID
8.30pm We have another cracking week from Europe on Betdaq Betting Exchange! We have midweek action from La Liga before heading into the start of the Europa League on Wednesday and Thursday. Real Madrid are in action as they travel to take on Levante in another fixture that they will be fully expected to win. It’s been smooth sailing for Xabi Alonso in La Liga so far this season – five wins from their five opening games has Los Blancos sitting pretty at the top of the table.
Real Madrid have had a pretty easy start to the season fixture wise; tougher tests will lie ahead, and they are coming up fast. At the weekend, they are away to Atletico Madrid and then at the end of October they face Barcelona in the first El Clasico of the season. For now, Real Madrid have the edge given Barcelona have already dropped points. It’s no surprise to see Real Madrid come into this one as the red-hot favourites with Levante coming up from the Segunda. Even allowing for the fact that they topped the table last season, the gulf in class between the top tier and the second tier all over Europe is massive now with the money available in the top flight.
Real Madrid are trading 1.36 with Levante 9.0 and the draw is 6.0 at the time of writing. I was keen to see the impact Xabi Alonso would have on Real Madrid and it’s been hard to fault them so far. They are averaging an xG over 2.0 and conceding very close to 1.0. Obviously the FIFA Club World Cup came a little quickly after he took over, and now we are seeing how he wants his team to play. However it has to be said, on pure under-lining numbers, Barcelona are once again playing the better football this season – I’m sure the title will go right down to the wire.
It’s a different story for Levante. Their average xG created is only 1.06 which is in the bottom five attacking figures in La Liga. More worrying for them is their average xG conceded is already over 2.0. Only themselves and Oviedo have an average xG conceded that high – as the saying goes you don’t win many games conceding two goals! They did have a confidence boosting 4-0 win over Girona last weekend, but they face a hugely difficult task here. I feel Real can cover the handicap on the way to winning, and I’m happy to take the 1.95 on Real -1.5 goals.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Real Madrid -1.5 goals to beat Levante at 1.95 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
