BAYERN MUNICH V CHELSEA

8pm The Champions League action continues on Betdaq Betting Exchange, and we have a superb night on Wednesday! We have two blockbuster fixtures as Bayern Munich host Chelsea and Liverpool host Altetico Madrid – we have two odds on home favourites too! We kick off the action in Germany as Bayern Munich host Chelsea. With the situation in the Bundesliga this season, you’d have to think that Bayern will have an excellent platform to do well in Europe. As we saw with PSG last season, the ability to wrap up your domestic league early is massive. Bayer Leverkusen already look like they won’t be challenging Bayern this season, so that basically leaves Dortmund who were well short of title standard last season. From a Chelsea point of view, they have their plate full this season trying to stay in the Top Four in the Premier League and also having Champions League commitments too. They didn’t have that pressure in the Europa Conference League last season! They also had a very busy summer leading the FIFA Club World Cup; one wonders how they will hold up if they go deep in each tournament this season. This should be a cracking game though!

As you would expect given home advantage, Bayern come into the game as the favourites at 1.7 with Chelsea 5.2 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. I think it’s fair to say that Bayern haven’t really been tested in the Bundesliga this season – three games and three wins, although they did have to battle to beat Augsburg 3-2 away. At home, they have won 6-0 and 5-0; one of those came against RB Leipzig but they are miles away from their best these days. Chelsea are unbeaten in the Premier League, but they suffered a late goal at the weekend to only draw with Brentford. Equally they would have been disappointed to draw with Crystal Palace on the opening weekend. I couldn’t put anyone off the Bayern win here at 1.7, but I do feel we’ll see plenty of action and goals. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.56 and Both Teams To Score is a couple of ticks bigger at 1.62. I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, but I do like Over 2.5 goals here – Bayern have been running riot domestically and Chelsea games have been quite open too. Overs is a confident bet to start the night!

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.56 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

LIVERPOOL V ATLETICO MADRID

8pm Next we have Liverpool hosting Atletico Madrid, and this should be another cracking fixture! Liverpool have made the perfect start to the Premier League this season with four wins from four games, and they already have a three point advantage over Arsenal after beating them before the International Break. Atletico Madrid are obviously up against it in La Liga against Barcelona and Real Madrid, but they have had a very lacklustre start to the season with just one win from their four games. Ironically, that win came at the weekend in their toughest fixture on paper against Villarreal. In their opening three games, they lost to Espanyol and could only draw with Elche and Alaves. Three sides who are probably going to be involved in the relegation battle at some stage this season. While Atletico have played better than their results suggest, the fact that they couldn’t get over the line in those three games is very worrying at the start of the season! Last season Atletico struggled to create good quality chances and only finished the season with an average xG created of 1.37, which ended up being the sixth best attacking figure in La Liga.

It’s no surprise to see Liverpool come into this game as the odds on favourites. Arne Slot’s men are trading 1.62 with Atletico Madrid 6.0 and the draw is 4.4 at the time of writing. It’s fair to say that Liverpool have rode their luck at times already this season – they had to wait until the 95th minute to find the winner against Burnley at the weekend, and then obviously they had an exceptionally late winner against Newcastle too. You could probably argue that a draw would have been a fair result against Arsenal too! However, with all that being said – it’s always a good sign that a side are getting results while not playing their best football. And in my opinion Atletico Madrid are there for the taking. They are much stronger at home compared to away, they didn’t exactly play superb football last season and they have clearly struggled at the start of this season domestically. Liverpool are a confident selection at 1.62 for me!

The Ultra Says:
Three points win Liverpool to beat Atletico Madrid at 1.62 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.
