WEDNESDAY SERIE A: The Ultra previews EMPOLI v INTER MILAN and JUVENTUS v PARMA with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
EMPOLI V INTER MILAN
5.30pm We have a superb Wednesday night from Serie A on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! Inter Milan and Juventus are back in action after they played out an exceptionally entertaining 4-4 at the weekend! We have even get half that drama tonight then we’re in for a treat! I’m sure Inter and Juventus will be a popular double tonight. We kick off the evening with Empoli hosting Inter Milan – it’s not a surprise to see Inter Milan come into the game as the odds on favourites at 1.48 with Empoli 7.8 and the draw is 4.7 at the time of writing. Empoli have really struggled to create good quality chances this season, and their best chance of a result here feels like a 0-0 in my opinion. Empoli have an average xG created of 0.89 this season, which is the second worst attacking figure in Serie A. Not only is their xG low, they aren’t even taking those chances! Under 2.5 goals has collected in seven of their nine Serie A games this season – that’s trading 2.2 here but obviously the market is expecting Inter to do a lot of work in front of goal! Both Teams To Score is trading odds against, and to be honest Both Teams Not To Score is more tempting at 1.88.
Obviously Inter Milan had a crazy game at the weekend, a 4-4 doesn’t happen often, but Inter have been very solid at the back. Their average xG conceded has been in the top three, and they come up against one of the most limited sides going forward here too. I actually like two bets here – the Inter Milan win at 1.48 and Both Teams Not To Score at 1.88. Empoli are there for the taking in my opinion, even with home advantage – Empoli have clearly tried to keep games as tight as possible – but they have yet to win a home game this season. What is worth pointing out is that they have been much more solid at home – their average xG conceded at home is under 1.0 compared to close to 2.0 away from home! That stat would make me reduce my stakes on the Inter win – to be honest I couldn’t put anyone off either bet and maybe for a lot of punters the Both Teams Not To Score bet is more appealing but I’m happy with a reasonably small position on the Inter win at 1.48.
The Ultra Says:
Two points win Inter Milan to beat Empoli at 1.48 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE.

JUVENTUS V PARMA
7.45pm We finish Wednesday night with Juventus hosting Parma. Most football fans will be expecting a Juventus win here, and they come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Juventus are trading 1.4 with Parma 9.8 and the draw is 5.3 at the time of writing. Juventus were involved in a thriller at the weekend with a 4-4 draw against Inter Milan – they had only conceded once in eight Serie A games before that one! I have to say Juventus don’t look like title winners so far this season; in my opinion they haven’t been creating enough chances. Their average xG created is 1.25 which is a mid-table figure; obviously they are a massive club with a huge history and know how to get the job done. That might keep them in the title race for a while but I just see them falling away again like last season. Aside from the four goals conceded at the weekend, they have been superb at the back – their average xG conceded is 0.79 which is the best defensive figure in Europe. Parma come into this game under pressure – they were sitting down in 17th heading into this midweek fixture list.
Another draw at home meant they have now gone seven Serie A games without a win. Ironically they only win of the season has come against AC Milan, who have been playing some very good football! Parma are actually creating more chances than Juventus – their average xG created is 1.38, but the massive difference here is how many chances Parma are conceding. Their average xG conceded is 1.5, which puts them in the bottom five on defensive figures – it’s no surprise to see them in the relegation mix for the time being. Juventus are obviously very strong at home, and it’s hard to see past a home win here – Parma will give them chances, and that’s the type of side Juventus tend to do very well against if they are struggling to create good quality chances. I’m going to keep stakes low here, but given their record at the back I feel Juventus can keep a clean sheet here on the way to winning. Both Teams Not To Score is worth backing at 1.8.
