EUROPA LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: Our football tipster The Ultra previews Wednesday’s early game between SPARTAK MOSCOW V LEICESTER with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
SPARTAK MOSCOW V LEICESTER
3.30pm We have another afternoon game to enjoy on BETDAQ Betting Exchange from the Europa League on Wednesday as Spartak Moscow host Leicester. Obviously the 3-30pm kick off time isn’t ideal for the fans, and I have to say it’s strange time but it’s excellent from a football fan point of view with three games to enjoy again today. UEFA aren’t allowing games to clash with the Champions League, so here we are. This is a massive game for both sides, but particularly Leicester who have only managed one point from their opening two games in Group C.
When you also consider how well Napoli are doing in Serie A this season and the fact they also only have one point from two games, you can see Leicester have work to do in this Group! Brendan Rodgers might have been feeling the pressure a little before their massive 4-2 win over Manchester United at the weekend – prior to that win Leicester had made a very poor start to the season with only eight points from seven games. It was a big fall from challenging for Champions League football.
Sometimes you get the feeling that Leicester don’t take this competition seriously and we’ll see what their opinion of the competition is with their team selection here. If you are Brendan Rodgers you have to pick your best XI given the situation in the Group, however this is a tough place to travel to and difficult playing conditions. He could easily opt to play a second XI. Watch for the team news here; you could get a big trading opportunity.
After losing to Legia Warsaw in their opening game, Spartak went to Napoli and managed to come away with a 3-2 win. They didn’t deserve to lose against Legia Warsaw too as they created an xG of 1.92 in their 1-0 loss. Given Leicester haven’t exactly fired this season and that fact Spartak have played good football in their two Europa League games I am very surprised to see Leicester odds on here. I’m happy to lay them at 1.85, in what should be a tricky game for them.
The Ultra Says:
Two points lay (liability) Leicester to beat Spartak Moscow at 1.85 with BETDAQ Exchange.
