All eyes on Colwick Park, Nottingham for The Betfred Select Stakes and Select Stayers.
The 9.19 goes in the pending file, ie: impossible, cross form all over the race with short head margins between 3,4 and 6, throw in 5 and there’s a length between the bottom 4, too hard to play.
The 9.04 is ultra competitive so in that case the FAV Farloe Tango with his style of running warrants a lay at around 2.6.
SMALL stakes or NO stakes advised.
The 7.49 is the main event for me.
Trap 1 Head lton Eoin – 8 time winner over CD sets the standard but not from Tp1 1/19 career starts.
Trap 2 Caribbean Rich – early pace type, middle runner, 3/5 over CD evenly matched with TP 1 and they could have a ‘coming together’.
Trap 3 Glenpadden Bolt – 0/2 over CD,sluggish at the start,would be happier drawn inside and currently 5 without a win after his first 2 wins in Coventry.
Trap 6 Romeo Hi Rumble – 0/8 over CD 0/4 from Tp5 and never ran out of 6,a slow starter whos badly drawn.
I think the race is centred around Tp 4 Hadrians Wall and Tp 5 Sinbad, favouring Tp 4 who has won 8 from 16 all at Newcastle out of middle. He is blessed with early speed and recently appears to have taken to the Nottingham track with an impressive trial on the 22nd.
I rate Tp5 Sinbad the danger and is worth a saver,2/2 over CD,4 times top heat winner and should have outside to himself due to Tp 6 being devoid of early pace.
RECOMMENDATION:
Nottingham 7.49 BACK 2 POINTS WIN TP 4 circa 4.0 and 1 POINT WIN TP 5 circa 4.5.
