BETDAQ FOOTBALL PREVIEW: We look ahead to three televised games tonight. The FA Cup replay between Hull and Arsenal with pressure mounting on Wenger and Champions League games featuring >Wolfsburg v Gent and Real Madrid v Roma.

Wolfsburg v Gent 7-45 (Champions League)

Wolfsburg come into the second leg with 3-2 advantage after the first leg at the Ghelamco Arena and they’re currently trading 1.05 in the ‘To Qualify’ market so not much excitement there – they have only lost one Champions League at home thus far. One wonders what Wolfsburg’s mindset will be though, to sit back and protect what they have or to attack and put the tie to bed? Given we have seen two goals or more in all but one of their Champions League ties this season, one suspects they’ll go for it. However, Gent have managed to find the net in all seven of their Champions League games so far, and seem to finish strongly – four of the last five goals they’ve scored have come in the last 15 minutes, that could something to think about trading the Betdaq match odds market if we’re heading for a nervy finish for the home side, and ironically enough, four of the last five goals that Wolfsburg have conceded have also came in the last 15 minutes. There is possibly some late value in the goals markets here with this in mind.

Real Madrid v Roma 7-45 (Champions League)

Madrid went a long way to putting the tie to bed when winning 2-0 in the first leg. And with Madrid having won 28 of their 33 Champions League home games, Roma face an uphill battle! Indeed the last time Madrid lost by two clear goals at home in the Champions League was against Barcelona in 2011. We should be in for an exciting game however, given that both teams have high scoring records – you might have to aim high to find some value though with over 2.5 goals currently trading 1.47. Roma’s games have produced more goals than any other team in the competition, however sadly for them they have conceded more than they have scored, and they’ve only kept one clean sheet in their last 21 Champions League games. If Madrid can bag an early goal, the flood gates could open here, Roma’s three away games in the Champions League this season have seen 20 goals, Real Madrid -1.5 is trading around 2.06 on Betdaq, and that could offer some value.

Hull v Arsenal 7-00 (FA Cup)

Arsenal will arrive into this replay under pressure having failed to win any of their last six games in all competitions, losing four and drawing two. This poor run has come at the worst possibly time for them, and Arsene Wenger is quoted having said he may “rotate a little bit” for this game, however can he risk it? He’s never lost an away FA Cup tie against lower-league opposition as Arsenal manager. Arsenal should have won the first leg, which they dominated and they have a good record visiting Hull. They have won all five of their last visits, and if you can put aside their recent form, they should be able to deal with Hull. An Arsenal win is 1.71.
