EURO 2020 QUALIFIER: We preview Thursday’s Euro 2020 Qualifier between ENGLAND v MONTENEGRO with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
ENGLAND v MONTENEGRO
7.45pm The training camp bust-up between Raheem Sterling and Joe Gomez has added a bit of controversy in the build-up to this match, but it should still be a routine win for England. Bar the surprise loss against Czech Republic away from home, England have dominated Group A and a win here would see them through to Euro 2020.
The markets are expecting an easy England win with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; England 1.09, Montenegro 44.0 and the draw is 15.5. England have already beaten Montenegro 5-1 away from home in Group A, so it’s more of a case of how many goals rather than will England win.
This England team have been superb in front of goal under Southgate. Their creativity has been the best it’s been for years and we have seen them bang in goals for fun over this qualifying campaign. They’ve had five wins in Group A and only one of those games had a margin of less than three goals.
Montenegro will undoubtedly try to frustrate England but we can only see goals here. Any Other Home Win (England to score four or more and win) is trading 2.2 at the time of writing and that looks cracking value. We can’t see Montenegro getting close to England here and if England can score five goals away from home – they can repeat the feat here.
