EURO 2020 QUALIFIERS: We preview Friday’s Euro 2020 Qualifiers between SWITZERLAND V GEORGIA and ROMANIA V SWEDEN with recommended BETDAQ bets.
SWITZERLAND V GEORGIA
7.45pm This is a huge game for Switzerland. The pressure is really on as things stand in Group D and the result here will have a massive impact on the Republic Of Ireland too. Switzerland currently sit one point behind Ireland and Denmark. They have a game in hand on Ireland who top the Group and with Denmark playing Gibraltar at home tonight; this is a must win game for Switzerland.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Switzerland 1.16, Georgia 29.0 and the draw is 8.2. Switzerland look more than a little short at 1.16; although they did beat Georgia 2-0 in the away game in this Group. Obviously there is a ‘need to win’ factor in that price, but we can see an angle on the goals market here. Georgia have been good at keeping teams from scoring in this qualifying campaign although it has come at a cost of scoring themselves. Apart from conceding five goals away against Denmark, they have kept things tight and with Switzerland under pressure we can see a low scoring game here. We expect Switzerland to win, but not by much. Under 2.5 goals is trading 2.18 and that looks cracking value.

ROMANIA V SWEDEN
7.45pm This is another massive game in Group F. Spain sit five points clear at the top of the group, with Sweden in second on 15 points and Romania in third on 14. A win for either side would obviously be massive tonight. Sweden managed to get a huge point against Spain in their last game, while Romania were held at home against Norway. Romania are under immense pressure here as their last game comes away to Spain while Sweden play Faroe Islands at home.
We have a very open market with the match odds at the time of writing currently trading; Romania 2.98, Sweden 2.7 and the draw is 3.4. These two sides were on matchday one in this Group with Sweden running out 2-1 winners with home advantage. We can see a very close game here – to be honest there isn’t much between the sides. Especially with Romania having home advantage. Sweden would be delighted with a draw here and we feel that they can stop Romania from winning – they haven’t scored the goals that Sweden have in qualifying and we’re happy to lay the home side at 2.98.
