WEEK AHEAD: It’s an England v Spain final in the Women’s World Cup ….


Monday We kick off the week with action from The Hundred that sees Welsh Fire take on Manchester Originals on Sky Sports. As per the usual order of proceedings, the women’s game will be the earlier start at 15:00, followed by the men’s game at 18:30. The evening’s entertainment comes from Old Trafford as Manchester United kick off their Premier League campaign at home to Wolves, live on Sky Sports at 20:00.

Tuesday sees the first of the Women’s World Cup semi-finals as the teams battle it out for a place in Sunday’s Final from 09:00 on BBC. The Hundred continues with a local derby between Oval Invincibles and London Spirit, with the women’s game starting at 15:00 followed by the men at 18:30 – both are live on Sky Sports.

Wednesday kicks off with action from the Women’s World Cup with second of the semi-finals set to commence at 11:00 on BBC. Southern Brave take on Birmingham Phoenix in the Hundred on Sky Sports, with coverage from the women’s game starting at 15:00 followed by the men at 18:30. The evening sees a continental clash between Manchester City and Sevilla as they go head-to-head for the Super Cup live on TNT Sports from 20:00.

We head to Trent Bridge for our Hundred action on Thursday, with Trent Rockets welcoming Manchester Originals. As always, the women’s game gets underway at 15:00, followed by the men taking to the pitch at 18:30. This week’s golf comes from the FedEx Cup playoffs, as the first-round coverage of the BMW Championship begins at 18:00 on Sky Sports.

Friday sees London Spirit taking on Northern Supercharges from 15:00 in the women’s Hundred, with the men’s fixture coming straight after at 18:30, both live on Sky Sports. The BMW Championship continues for its second round as players give their all to make the cut from 18:00 on Sky Sports. We round off the working week with some Championship football as two former Premier League sides go at it, with Leeds United welcoming West Bromwich Albion to Elland Road from 20:00 on Sky Sports.

The 2023 World Athletics Championships start on Saturday morning as Britain’s Zharnel Hughes looks to continue his great year, with coverage set to start at 07:30 on BBC. It’s a battle for bronze in the Women’s World Cup as the third-place playoff kicks off at 11:00 on BBC. It is a jam-packed evening of sport headed by a huge game in the Premier League, as Manchester United face Tottenham at 17:30 on Sky Sports. At the same time, Ireland versus England in the Autumn internationals kicks off on Amazon Prime. There is also the men’s Hundred action at 18:30, with Trent Rockets taking on Birmingham Phoenix, as well as the third round of the BMW Championship, both of with start at 18:30 on Sky Sports. There is another 20:00 kick-off on TNT Sports as Manchester City take on Newcastle in the Premier League.

Sunday starts with a bang as the two remaining nations battle it out in the Women’s World Cup final, which kicks off at 09:00 on BBC. There is lots of Sunday afternoon sporting action, the first of which comes from the Premier League as Aston Villa and Everton face off at 15:00 on Sky Sports, followed by Manchester Originals v Northern Supercharges in the men’s Hundred at 15:30, also on Sky Sports. Coverage of the World Athletics Championship continues on BBC from 15:30, whilst the 16:30 slot in the Premier League is occupied by a London derby between West Ham and Chelsea, likewise live on Sky Sports. The final round of the BMW Championship will begin at 16:30 on Sky Sports as players battle it out to qualify for the next stage of the FedEx Cup playoffs, with the week rounded off with a game from the men’s Hundred between Welsh Fire and London Spirit, also live on Sky Sports from 18:30.
