WEEK AHEAD: The Cricket and Rugby World Cups continue and there’s another round of Euro 2024 Qualifiers to look forward to.

Monday We kick off the week with action from the Cricket World Cup with New Zealand taking on Netherlands at 09:00 on Sky Sports

As we roll into Tuesday there is yet more cricket to enjoy as England face Bangladesh in a highly anticipated Cricket World Cup match at 05:30, followed by Pakistan vs. Sri Lanka at 09:00, both broadcasted live on Sky Sports.

It’s another morning of cricket on Wednesday as India take on Afghanistan in the Cricket World Cup at 09:00 on Sky Sports. The first piece of action away from cricket comes from an international friendly between Wales and Gibraltar at 19:45 on BBC.

Easing into Thursday morning, Australia take on South Africa in the Cricket World Cup at 09:00 on Sky Sports. Fear not golf enthusiasts, cricket has not completely taken over the usual Thursday slot as the Open de Espana on the DP World Tour starts at 13:00 on Sky Sports. Football action continues with Spain vs. Scotland in the Euro 2024 Qualifiers at 19:45 on Viaplay Sports.

The 09:00 slot on Sky Sports continues to be dominated by the Cricket World Cup, as Friday morning sees New Zealand face Bangladesh. The second round of the Open de Espana gets underway from 13:00 on Sky Sports, followed by the Fillies’ Mile at the Dubai Future Champions Festival, at 15:35 on ITV. There is more Euro qualifier action on Viaplay Sports with Ireland vs. kicking off at 19:45

Get ready for an action-packed Saturday, which is of course sparked into life by the Cricket World Cup as India go head-to-head with Pakistan at 09:00 on Sky Sports. With cuts made the Open de Espana resumes at 12:30 on Sky Sports, before the horse racing fans turn their eyes to Newmarket for the Darley Dewhurst Stakes, at 14:00 on ITV. The Rugby World Cup is back with a bang with Quarter Final matches at 16:00 and 20:00, both airing on ITV. The evening culminates with the other, some may say superior form of rugby, as the Super League Grand Final gets underway at 18:00 on Sky Sports.

Sunday We end the week just as we started it, as England take on Afghanistan in the Cricket World Cup at 09:00 on Sky Sports, followed by the final day of the Open de Espana, starting at 13:00 on Sky Sports. There is more international football action to enjoy with Wales vs. Croatia at 19:45 on Viaplay Sports. The final four will be decided late on Sunday as the remaining two Rugby World Cup Quarter Finals are live at 16:00 and 20:00, both on ITV.
