WEEK AHEAD: Another cracking week of sport to look forward to with Champions League and Europa League Semi-Finals, as well as another Grand Prix and PGA Tour golf.
Tuesday is the first of two Champions League semi-finals on BT Sport, Man City host PSG in the second leg of the knockout fixture, Pep Guardiola’s side secured the victory in Paris and will be hopeful they can move on to the final where they will face either Chelsea or Real Madrid.
The two sides are in action on Wednesday evening in their semi-final and with the last fixture ending 1-1 at the Bernabeu its all to play for as they head into this game at Stamford Bridge. Premier League Darts also returns to the Sky Sports screens on Wednesday, where the action can be seen daily until the weekend.
Thursday arrives and so does the Wells Fargo Championship on Sky Sports where Phil Mickelson will be making his 17th appearance at the North Carolina venue. The coverage begins at midday on Sky Sports and will run daily until its culmination on Sunday. The Europa League also returns with semi-final action and again has two English teams competing for a spot in the final. Arsenal host Villareal in their second leg fixture which saw them lose out 2-1 when playing away in Spain, while Manchester United found things easier in their fixture against Roma securing a 6-2 victory. They now travel to the Italian side to formally book their place in the final.
Friday is a gentle warm-up for a hectic weekend, as Leicester and Newcastle face off in the Premier League in the evening.
Leeds and Tottenham get us underway on Saturday with their lunchtime kick-off before Sheffield United and Crystal Palace are also representing the Premier League at 15:00. Later on in the day, league leaders Manchester City play Chelsea at 17:30 and then the evenings entertainment is rounded off with Liverpool and Southampton at 20:15.
Wolves and Brighton start the day on the BBC on Sunday, but the headline event comes in the shape of the Spanish Grand Prix. The track has proven a difficult one to conquer in recent years and will no doubt be full of entertainment as Lewis Hamilton continues his record-breaking march. Aston Villa and Manchester United are also in action on Sky Sports, before West Ham and Everton take the baton later in the day. Coverage of the final day of the Wells Fargo Championship begins at 18:00, before Arsenal and West Brom round the week off on BT Sport.
