WEEK AHEAD: A week full of footballing rivalries sees England take on Germany, Arsenal entertain Spurs, and Man Utd make the short trip to face Man City.


England v Germany in Group A3 of the Nations League kicks the week into gear on Monday with a monumental clash at 19:45 on Channel 4. Only two months ahead of the World Cup, the two sides will be sure to play their best teams and look to make a statement. For the night owls, the NFL throws up an interesting fixture in Dallas Cowboys v New York Giants, live at 01:00 on Sky Sports.

Leicester Tigers take on Wasps on Tuesday in the Premiership Rugby Cup at 19:00 (BT Sport) and Ukraine host Scotland in the return leg of the Nations League fixture, which saw the Scots romp to a 3-0 win when the sides met last week (19:45, Premier Sports).

England’s tour of Pakistan continues with the fifth game in their T20 series (15:30, Sky Sports). Can England get back on top after some promising performances? Wednesday continues with a London derby in the WSL as Chelsea face West Ham at 19:05 on BBC.

Another week, another couple of tournaments for golf fans. The Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and Sanderson Farms Championship tee off on Thursday for their first days at 12:00 and 13:00 respectively, on Sky, before Miami Dolphins and Cincinnati Bengals face off in a mighty NFL clash at 00:30 (Sky Sports).

Friday is the second day of the Alfred Dunhill Links and the Sanderson Farms Championships, teeing off at 12:00 and 13:00 again (Sky Sports) before the series between Pakistan and England enters a critical stage in the sixth game of seven (15:30, Sky Sports). Newcastle Falcons and Bristol Bears go head-to-head at 19:45 on BT Sport before a Championship tie between Hull City and Luton Town eases us into the weekend from 20:00 (Sky Sports).

It could be a Saturday lunchtime to remember as Arsenal face Tottenham in the Premier League at 12:30 (BT Sport). One to make time for. The Championship sees Stoke City host a Watford side looking to climb back up the table at 12:00 (Sky Sports). Formula One is back with the Singapore Grand Prix at 13:00 on Sky Sports, where Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc will continue scrapping it out for the top spot in the Drivers’ Championship. Minnesota Vikings face New Orleans Saints at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the NFL at 13:30 on Sky Sports before the highlight of the week, Manchester City v Manchester United in the Premier League, graces our screens (14:00, Sky Sports).

The Rugby Premiership is back in action again at 15:00 on BT Sport with a clash between Harlequins and Northampton Saints, then the final match in the T20 seven-match series between Pakistan and England gets underway at 15:30 (Sky Sports). Closing out the afternoon and the week, Leeds United face Aston Villa in the Premier League in a match where both will be itching to secure three points (16:30, Sky Sports).
