WEEK AHEAD: This week is not one to miss for sports fans as we draw closer to the end of the football season with some crucial games to be played in both the Premier League and Championship, as well as Formula 1 action from Azerbaijan and the continuation of the Snooker World Championship.
Monday sees Day 10 of the World Snooker Championship commencing on BBC as Ronnie O’Sullivan continues in his pursuit of an 8th World Championship, live from 13:00. Monday night provides a crucial game at the top end of the Championship as fourth place Luton Town host third place Middlesborough with both sides fighting for three important points in the race for promotion, live on Sky Sports at 20:00.
Action from The Crucible continues on Tuesday as the World Snooker Championship enters its 11th day from 10:00. The relegation battle in the Premier League continues to hot up on Tuesday evening as Leeds United take on Leicester City at Elland Road at 19:45, live on BT Sport 1. With both sides fully embroiled in this season’s relegation scrap this promises to be a hard-fought affair and certainly not one to miss. Other Premier League action sees Aston Villa welcoming Fulham to Villa Park as both sides find themselves somewhat unexpectedly in a battle for European places, the action takes place at 19:45 on BT Sport. If that wasn’t enough there is one more match from the Premier League as a mid-table clash sees Crystal Palace take on Wolves at 19:30 on BT Sport. The Championship action doesn’t disappoint as Blackburn Rovers take on promoted Burnley in what promises to be a feisty East Lancashire derby, live on Sky Sports from 20:00.
The 12th day of the World Snooker Championship commences on BBC from 10:00 on Wednesday as the half a million-pound prize gets ever closer for the competitors. Possibly the most important game of this Premier League season takes place on Wednesday evening as leaders Arsenal travel to the Etihad Stadium to take on a formidable Manchester City side, showing no mercy in their pursuit of a fifth title in six seasons. All eyes will be on this game at 20:00 on BT Sport. In their fight for survival Nottingham Forest take on a high-flying Brighton in a tie which could have a significant impact at both ends of the table, you can follow the action from 19:30 on BT Sport.
Other midweek Premier League action includes West Ham versus Liverpool at 19:45 on BT Sport and a West London derby between Chelsea and Brentford, with Brentford looking the likeliest of the two to be fighting for a European place, live on BT Sport at 19:45.
On Thursday the first of the World Snooker Championship semi-finals get underway on BBC as the players creep ever closer to the trophy. For the golf fans the Korea Championship kicks off at 05:00 on Sky Sports and the first day of the Mexico Open is also live on Sky Sports from 13:45. The Premier League midweek fixtures once again take centre stage on BT Sport with the final fixtures for this gameweek. Southampton take on Bournemouth live on BT Sport at 19:45 in what is a real six pointer at the bottom of the table. Everton face Newcastle with both teams fighting for points in their respective relegation and Champions League battles, live on BT Sport at 19:45. The final match of the night is a heavyweight clash between Tottenham and Manchester United as both teams try to keep each other out of the Champions League places, don’t miss it live on BT Sport at 20:15. The Premier League Darts also makes its return as the battle for the top four spots heats up in Leeds, live on Sky Sports action from 19:00.
The World Snooker Championship semi-finals continue on Friday, live on BBC. It’s a day of golf as the second round of the Korea Championship is live on Sky Sports from 05:00, and the Mexico Open continues on Sky Sports at 13:45.

Sunday sees the final round of the Korea Championship on Sky Sports from 04:30 as the players fight it out for a DP World Tour win.
