WEEK AHEAD: Plenty of sporting action to look forward to on Betdaq this week including the start of the Rugby World Cup with hosts France taking on New Zealand in Friday’s opener …


We kick off the week with a day for the tennis fans as Monday brings the first of the round of 16 matches from the US Open on Sky Sports. The evening session will be live from midnight, whilst the afternoon session gets underway at 16:00.

Tuesday sees the last of the round of 16 matches at the US Open from midnight on Sky Sports ahead of the first of the quarterfinals, coverage of which will be live from 16:00. England take on New Zealand in the fourth of their five match T20 series on Tuesday evening, with coverage starting at 17:30 on Sky Sports.

The timings stay the same for Sky Sports’ US Open coverage on Wednesday, with coverage of the rest of the quarter-final matches available at midnight and then later in the day at 16:00. There is more evening cricket action as England Women take on Sri Lanka in the third match of their T20 series on Sky Sports from 17:30.

The regular readers will know that Thursday always means a start to the golfing action, and this week is no different as the European Tour continues with the Irish Open live on Sky Sports from 13:00. That is not the only Irish action of the day as Ireland take on France in their bid to qualify for next year’s European Championships on Viaplay Sports from 19:45. The last of the quarter-finals from the US Open will be live on Sky Sports from midnight on Thursday morning, which precede the first of the semi-finals  at 23:30.

Friday sees the England cricket team continue to host New Zealand as the format switches to ODI, with he first of a three-match series getting underway at 12:00 on Sky Sports. The Irish Open is back for it’s second round from 13:00 on Sky Sports, followed up on the same channel by the last of the semi-finals from the US Open at 20:00. There is more action from the European Championship qualifiers on Viaplay Sports with Cyprus hosting Scotland from 19:45. Friday evening will be circled in the calendar of all rugby union fans as the opening night of the Rugby World Cup sees hosts France take on New Zealand from 20:15 on ITV.

We tee up the weekend with some golfing action as those who made the cut in the Irish Open return for a third round from 12:30 on Sky Sports. The Rugby World Cup gets its wheels fully into motion on Saturday with two matches on ITV as Ireland take on Romania at 14:30 and England square off against Argentina at 20:00. It’s also England’s turn in the European Championship qualifiers as they take on Ukraine from 17:00 on Channel 4, whilst it is a big evening for tennis on Sky Sports as the US Open Women’s Final takes place from 20:30.

Sunday kicks off in style with the second match from the ODI series between England and New Zealand from 10:30 on Sky Sports. The Irish Open culminates on Sunday with the players setting out on their final rounds from 12:30, also on Sky Sports. There are another two fixtures from the Rugby World Cup on ITV as South Africa take on Scotland from 16:45, followed up by Wales v Fiji at 20:00. It is a Grand Slam end to the week as the winner of the US Open Men’s singles will be crowned, with coverage getting underway at 20:30 on Sky sports.
