WORLD CUP: It’s quarter-final time and on Friday we preview URUGUAY v FRANCE and BRAZIL v BELGIUM with recommended BETDAQ bets.
URUGUAY V FRANCE
3pm We’re now at the Quarter Final stage of the World Cup 2018 and we start with Uruguay taking on France. Uruguay have been excellent at the back the whole tournament, and it will be very interesting to see how the attacking talent of France get on against them. Mbappe was simply superb against Argentina; however can he repeat that performance? Uruguay seem reliable, and France will have to be on their A-game to win.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Uruguay 4.7, France 2.1 and the draw is 3.15. When we get to the business end of tournaments we always see cagey games, and with Uruguay’s general approach we’re almost certain to see a very tight game here. Under 2.5 goals is only trading 1.55 though which looks about right – we feel that the value is with the France lay at 2.1. We really expect this game to be a lot closer than those odds suggest and have to lay that from a value point of view. We expect Uruguay to massively frustrate France and they can grab a goal on the counter attack too.

BRAZIL V BELGIUM
7pm Belgium had to come back from being 2-0 down with less than 30 minutes to go against Japan; however they were able to pull it out of the bag. They will fancy their chances against this Brazil side who, you could say, have yet to be tested. There is definitely goals in this Belgium side; as we seen in their last game and with Brazil not taking as many chances as they should in the tournament to date – we could have a surprise on the cards on.
Brazil are heavy favourites, with the match odds at the time of writing; Brazil 2.18, Belgium 3.8 and the draw is 3.5. We haven’t really seen much from Brazil to be scared about in the tournament – however they haven’t had their backs against the wall like Belgium; and that’s when you see a teams true quality. Obviously there is improvement in this Brazilian side; however they look too short at 2.18. To have Belgium and the draw running for us at these odds is massive value – this should be a fantastic, and very close, game.
