So Man U are the biggest price they’ve ever been for a Premier League game (around 5.7 on BETDAQ). It’s almost tempting to back them for old times sake.
But that’s all it would be as without doubt they are not the same side this season. They’ve flattered to deceive but there is no longer the invincibility behind the side.
Chelsea have won nine of their last ten home matches and dropped just two points all season and with the relentless progress of Man City and Arsenal will need all three points here if there own title ambitions are to be kept intact.
Even a win today for Chelsea doesn’t move them off third spot but it keeps them within breathing distance.
Manchester United manager David Moyes has ruled out strikers Wayne Rooney (groin) and Robin van Persie (thigh) for the trip to Stamford Bridge whilst defender Rafael serves the last of his three-match ban.
It should be a cracker – and just got a feeling that it might end a draw to frustrate Chelsea and a result that would please Man U. Very much a sign of the times.
