LIMERICK IS ON: Good news. The meeting at Limerick passed their morning inspection and racing goes ahead. They also race at Dundalk tonight.
Good news that the meeting at Limerick today goes ahead following an inspection.
The inside track at the course had been unfit for racing yesterday, but conditions have improved sufficiently overnight.
Limerick’s going is described as heavy, with a mild weekend forecast. They will also race on Saturday and Sunday.
Best best on today’s card could be Oiche Mhaith Boy in the opening maiden hurdle at 2.05pm.
The four-year-old ran a good race behind the hot favourite Newberry New at Gowran Park last time out and although beaten 15 lengths still had the field well spaced out in behind.
This looks by far his easiest assignment to date and he should get off the mark.
