Just one bet for me on Thursday’s card and it comes in the Arthur Guinness E.B.F. Corrib Fillies Stakes at 3.30pm.
Dermot Weld runs just the one runner here – Emergent but she was very disappointing in Listed company at Killarney last time out and might be a Weld trained runner who is vulnerable.
Preference is for the Mick Halford trained Rayisa who has struggled with a handicap mark of the mid-90’s but the switch back to Pattern class could reap rewards.
She was a good third to Best In The World in a Listed race at the Curragh last season and that run contributed to her hefty handicap mark.
She was only narrowly beaten in a maiden here on her second start so we know she handles the unique contours of the track well.
