CHELSEA v LIVERPOOL: A superb start to the weekend’s Premier League action with CHELSEA playing LIVERPOOL tonight at 8pm. We are expecting goals as we preview the action from Stamford Bridge.

8pm A fantastic clash ahead of us for Friday Night Football and the match odds at the time of writing read: Chelsea 2.3, Liverpool 3.45 and the draw 3.55 – we feel that those odds are pretty close to perfect and there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount of value in the match odds market at the moment.
It’s interesting that Liverpool have managed just one win in their last eight league meetings with Chelsea, however that win was here last season, and Jurgen Klopp’s first Premier League win. Both teams seem to be full of goals thus far this season and that will be the way we want to play this one – over 2.5 goals is 1.79 while Both Teams To Score is 1.65 – we marginally prefer the BTTS at 1.65.
Chelsea have only kept one clean sheet in their last 14 home Premier League games, and while this was recently against Burnley, better opposition have found a way through – while Liverpool have been pretty impressive going forward this season, they appear to be leaving gaps at the back. They have conceded in all four of their Premier League games, while Chelsea have conceded in three of their four, and worryingly against teams that they should be dealing with comfortably.
Big games tend to be more defensive than attacking but that’s not Klopp’s style and hopefully that leads to an open game. The goals markets are worth checking out closer to kick off to see is there any value but Both Teams To Score is our best bet at 1.65.
