LIMERICK NAP: SHAMROCK heads to Limerick for his best bet of the day on Saturday.
Narrowed the Listed race down to two yesterday but got them the wrong way round as Ambassadorial beat the 2/1 NAP Executive Force.
Another huge day for Aidan O’Brien who should land the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket with Churchill who improves with each run and was particularly impressive over today’s trip when winning the Goffs Vincent O’Brien National Stakes at the Curragh last time out.
They race at Fairyhouse and Limerick in Ireland on Saturday and for my nap of the day I’m heading to Limerick.
It’s soft ground and that should suit the Mick Halford trained Saltonstall in the seven furlong maiden at 1.40pm.
He made a pleasing debut at Naas when second to Territory and might prove too strong for his lightly raced rivals.
