THREE NAPS OUT OF FOUR: SHAMROCK landed his third winning NAP of the week (all odds-against) with De Plotting Shed WON 13/8 on Thursday.
A nice easy win for De Plotting Shed at Thurles yesterday.
It’s now three winning naps from four so far this week:
Mon: HE’S ROCK (NAP) WON 9/4
Wed: VIGIL (NAP) WON 7/4
Thu: DE PLOTTING SHED (NAP) WON 13/8
It could be a case of London Calling at Dundalk tonight.
Aidan O’Brien’s runner, London, has been well backed on the BETDAQ market this morning for the maiden over a mile at 8.05pm.
He was only beaten a head at Cork last time out and should be able to go one better in this company over a slightly shorter trip which is also a positive.
Dermot Weld’s Kitten Loves Roses has been tried in blinkers and a visor and was only beaten a neck at Gowran Park last time out. He looks the danger.
The featured Mercury Stakes is a competitive Listed event with several British raiders.
Moviesta ran disappointingly here last time out otherwise he would have been my place fancy – I’ll switch to a BETDAQ win and place on Ardhoomey who was a shock 16/1 winner of a Group 2 last time out at the Curragh.
SHAMROCKS BETS:
NAP: London (8.05 Dundalk)
WIN AND PLACE: Ardhoomey (7.35 Dundalk)
