Despite a market drift and a couple of failed gambles in the race Arthur’s Kingdom won the opener at Gowran Park to land the SHAMROCK NAP and only bet on Monday. It’s now FIVE NAPS IN A ROW:

A Wave Of The Sea can hopefully keep the sequence going at Punchestown this afternoon. The Joseph O’Brien trained runner looks a solid bet for the Ladbrokes 3-Y-O Hurdle at 3.00.
He’s a dual winner on the flat and shaped very well on his hurdling debut at Listowel when a close runner-up to For Everyone. With normal improvement he should prove too strong for chief market rival Laura Bullion – a Down Royal maiden hurdle winner who disappointed on the flat at Dundalk last time out.
