PREMIER LEAGUE SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s Premier League game between MAN U v LIVERPOOL with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended stats.

4.30pm What a fixture. How the tables have turned in recent years – it used to be Manchester United heading for the Premier League title and Liverpool trying to take points off them; now it’s the other way around. The gulf in class between the sides is hardly believable looking back just a few years – Klopp has done a wonderful job at Liverpool while United just aren’t a well-run club at the moment.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester United 5.6, Liverpool 1.71 and the draw is 4.1. This is probably the lowest price Liverpool have been to win at Old Trafford since BETDAQ opened; and to be honest it looks too big. Manchester United have been woeful this season, and have to face this excellent Liverpool side without their best two players.
United without Pogba and De Gea are a much weaker side and it’s hard to see where the goals will come from looking at this United side. They come into this game without a win in their last five games in all competitions and we have seen some embarrassing performances in those fixtures. The 1-0 loss away to Newcastle was probably the worst, but they also lost 2-0 to West Ham and failed to beat Rochdale and AZ Alkmaar.
Liverpool are in the complete opposite position. They come into this tie top of the Premier League with a perfect eight wins from eight games. They are a winning machine at the moment, but they have been able to win when not playing at their best too – which is the sign of champions.
United have been so poor that the gulf in class here is just too big for Liverpool not to win. Liverpool are without a win in their last five at Old Trafford but United have never been this bad and the 1.71 on Liverpool looks massive. It is the best value bet of the weekend in the Premier League.
