QARABAG V CHELSEA

5.45pm The Champions League action continues on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE There’s no doubt that the Premier League double of Chelsea and Manchester City will be a popular bet on Wednesday! We kick off the action with one of the early kick offs as Chelsea travel to take on Qarabag. There’s a massive gulf in class between the sides here, and this is a game that Chelsea will be fully expected to win. Chelsea come into the game as the red-hot favourites at 1.37 with Qarabag 9.2 and the draw is 5.8 at the time of writing. Chelsea had a hard fought 1-0 win over Spurs in the London Derby at the weekend – they needed that after a lacklustre start to the Premier League season. They came into the second as many punters “dark horses” after their FIFA Club World Cup win, but they were mid-table before that Spurs win and they are already eight points behind Arsenal – they aren’t in the title race already. They had a difficult start in the Champions League away to Bayern Munich, but they’ve bounced back nicely with back-to-back wins. They can’t afford a slip up here; this is a game that they have to be winning as they still have to play Barcelona, Atalanta away and Napoli away.

Qarabag are one of the weakest Champions League sides on paper, but they had a dream start with two wins until bumping into Athletic Bilbao. They had to come here through qualifying which started way back in July – just to get here is a big achievement but for the time being they can dream of actually having a chance to get through to the next round. They have some very difficult fixtures coming up though – this game, Napoli and Liverpool stand out. It’s hard to see past a Chelsea win here, but Qarabag games have been quite open in the Champions League and I think we’ll have an entertaining game here. Chelsea have the third best attacking figure in the Premier League this season, and I do feel at home Qarabag will at least try to fight fire-with-fire. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.55 and Both Teams To Score is 1.86. I do agree with the market that Both Teams To Score should be odds on; Qarabag have shown enough to suggest they can score here. I do feel we’ll see plenty of chances, and I’m happy with the 1.55 on Over 2.5 goals.

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Over 2.5 goals at 1.55 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE..

MANCHESTER CITY V DORTMUND

8pm We finish Wednesday night with what should be another very entertaining game as Manchester City host Dortmund. I know these two clubs are exceptionally likely to progress to the next stage, but for the time being it’s a big game with both of them sitting on seven points after three games. City moved up to second in the Premier League with a win over Bournemouth at the weekend, and now find themselves as the main title challenger to Arsenal. To be honest, it would be a surprise if Arsenal didn’t win the Premier League from here, but City have all the experience on the run-in if they can get close. Dortmund also won at the weekend, but they are already seven points behind Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. They have taken the final Champions League spot in Germany for the last two seasons, so surely their main aim domestically is to keep that Champions League spot – no one is getting close to Bayern this season. Dortmund have definitely improved at the back this season – they have an average xG conceded of 1.07, which is the second best defensive figure in the Bundesliga.

A draw will be a good result for Dortmund here, and I’d expect them to approach the game in that manner. They could frustrate City here, but at the same time with home advantage it’s no surprise to see Pep Guardiola’s men come into the game as the odds on favourites. Man City are trading 1.45 with Dortmund 7.0 and the draw is 5.7 at the time of writing. Obviously there’s a gulf in class between the sides here, even allowing for the fact that City haven’t been at their brilliant best lately. That being said, I’ve seen enough progress from Dortmund this season to put me off backing City at 1.45 here. I feel that’s a little short, and I’m happy to stay out of the match odds market. I’m going to keep stakes low here, but I do feel that Dortmund will come here to put XI men behind the ball and try to get a draw – obviously City haven’t been putting sides to the sword this season, and I feel we’ll see less goals than the market expects. Under 3.5 goals looks nice value at 1.81 in my opinion!

The Ultra Says:
Two points win Under 3.5 goals at 1.81 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE..
