STURM GRAZ V NOTTINGHAM FOREST

5.45pm The Europa League returns on BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE! We have the both Premier League sides back in action on Thursday night; both are odds on but you don’t have to look far to find the negatives with them this season. We kick off the action with the early kick off as Sturm Graz host Nottingham Forest – it’s been a very difficult start to the season for Forest – they’re already on their third manager! Obviously the Ange Postecoglou appointment didn’t work out, but he was barely given any time to be honest, and now with Sean Dyche in charge they still sit in the bottom three. They had a dramatic 2-2 draw at the weekend at home to Manchester United – no mean feat given how United have been playing well lately, but they are still four points from safety. There’s a massive gulf in class between the sides here and the domestic leagues – this is a game that Forest will be fully expected to win, but at the same time they haven’t won many games this season and they come into the game as the odds on favourites. I’m sure there will be some big opinions either side of the book here!

Nottingham Forest are trading 1.74 with Sturm Graz 5.0 and the draw is 4.1 at the time of writing. Forest have work to do in the Europa League with just four points from their three games – obviously we had the chants of “you’re getting sacked in the morning” from the fans to Ange Postecoglou during the 3-2 loss at home to Midtjylland which was a shock at the time to be honest – the fans didn’t give him long either! Sean Dyche had in his first win over Porto at home which was important, and this is a game that they should be winning as I said. Even though they are levels about Sturm Graz though, it’s been nine Premier League games without a win and the 1.74 doesn’t make much appeal here away from home. Forest have leaked chances this season, and that’s been the main issue – they are actually creating more than last season! Sturm Graz games have been pretty end-to-end and entertaining, and I think we’ll see goals here. Over 2.5 goals is trading 1.85 and Both Teams To Score is one tick lower at 1.84 – I couldn’t put anyone off either bet to be honest, especially with one tick between them, but I marginally prefer BTTS.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Both Teams To Score at 1.84 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE..

ASTON VILLA V MACCABI TEL AVIV

8pm We finish Thursday night with Aston Villa hosting Maccabi Tel Aviv. Most of the drama around this fixture has already happened with Maccabi Tel Aviv fans banned for safety reasons. When that statement came out from the police, there was a massive reaction from the UK government to try and get Maccabi Tel Aviv fans in the stadium, which was bizarre after what happened in Amsterdam. In the end, Maccabi Tel Aviv decide not to sell their fans tickets regardless of the decision, but the UK police didn’t change their decision either. It’s crazy how certain debates just take off within the media and government. It’s not the first game Maccabi Tel Aviv have been banned from! Anyway, onto the football here – this is a game that Villa will be fully expected to win given the gulf in class between the sides. It’s no surprise that they come into the game as the red-hot favourites. Aston Villa are trading 1.24 with Maccabi Tel Aviv 14.0 and the draw is 7.4 at the time of writing. That 1.24 is the shortest price in the Europa League this week!

It’s very difficult to see past an Aston Villa win here, Maccabi Tel Aviv have struggled in the Europa League too with just one draw from three games. With home advantage, I can’t see past a win for Villa here but obviously there’s no prizes for tipping 1.24 shots so we’ll have to look around the side markets for some value. The tricky thing with Villa this season too is they haven’t exactly been firing in front of goal. They went ages without scoring, and their average xG created in the Premier League this season is only 1.21. That’s a very low figure for a club like Villa; it’s actually the fourth worst attacking figure in the Premier League this season. While Villa should get the job done, they might make hard work of it and I’m happy to have a small position on less goals than the market expects. Under 2.5 goals is trading 2.7 and Under 3.5 goals is 1.67. I do feel both bets offer some value, but I’m happy with Under 3.5.

The Ultra Says:
One point win Under 3.5 goals at 1.67 with BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE..
