COLD SNAP AHEAD

After the holiday feast comes the relative famine with just three meetings and racing in Ireland taking a break. We might be grateful for three meetings in a few days time with the forecast cold spell due to hit. The first casualty could be Uttoxeter tomorrow where they stage a morning inspection ahead of their New Year’s Eve card. Daqman has Tuesday bets from all three courses …..

“AND STILL UNBEATEN” …

⭕ 2.20 Taunton Listed Race A decent Listed race for mares where all eyes will surely be on the unbeaten Lady Tadita.

The Jamie Snowdon trained runner again gets the good ground she seems to relish having supplemented her bumper win with successes over hurdles at both Market Rasen and Huntingdon. The ground has been good in all three of her wins.

She fully deserves a chance to shine in better company and might have most to fear from the ex-French trained Al Fonce although the good ground is a question mark for her given she has only experienced heavy surfaces so far.

GRAY DAY

⭕ 2.35 Haydock The Grayster has the best form in the book for me despite being beaten 12 lengths into second on debut at Doncaster.

It was a promising debut given he pulled nicely clear of the third and the winner Aqua Blue has since gone on to win well at Lingfield and looks well above average.

The front of the market looks questionable. Majordomo is making his hurdles debut having won a bumper at Newcastle last month whilst Lucy The Wire didn’t impress when winning at Leicester with her sketchy jumping.

WILL SHE LAND NAP?

⭕ 7.30 Wolverhampton Wilhelmina gets her best chance yet to add to her turf success at Beverley with a first win on the all-weather.

This is a huge class drop for the Kevin Philippart De Foy trained filly who was by no means disgraced when fifth (beaten 1 3/4 lengths) in the class 2 Winter Oaks Trial at Lingfield. Back to class 5 level she should prove hard to beat and rates the days nap on Betdaq Betting Exchange.

Her rivals generally look quite exposed with the exception of Leeson Street who might be capable of running into a place on just her fourth start.

It’s hard to know exactly what to expect as she is now tongue-tied and making her handicap debut for trainer George Boughey who has acquired her since Alice Haynes closed down her training operations. Leeson Street has certainly hinted at ability and her starting mark of 65 looks workable.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
