SHAMROCK’S THREE from FOUR WINNING NAPS: Shamrock made it three winning naps from the last four but needed a slice of luck yesterday.
Bright New Dawn made it three winning naps from the last four when winning at Thurles yesterday but looked a lucky winner as the unfortunate Venture Capital had just taken up the running at the last before taking a crashing, and sadly fatal tumble.
We head to Dundalk tonight to try and make it 4 from 5 winning naps. The current sequence is:
Saturday: Stockton’s Wing (NAP) WON 5/4
Sunday: LOST
Wednesday: Follow The Sign (NAP) WON 2/1
Thursday: Bright New Dawn (NAP) WON 6/4
Hopefully Lady X will have the X factor in the 8.50.
She shaped well on debut here when third over a mile to Saga Eiger and gave the impression that the extra distance will suit.
The race doesn’t look to have much strength in depth.
