NEED ANY PERSUASION? Daqman found 4/1 winner Persuasion at Musselburgh on Sunday to land a 21 point return on Betdaq.
QUIET MONDAY: Daqman plays small stakes at good prices on Monday in the hope that one winner will secure a profit on his staking plan.
TUESDAY TREATS: The racing gets better on Tuesday on both the flat and jumps. Epsom stage their delayed season opening card whilst Punchestown have a triple Grade 1 card which includes the return of Cheltenham winner Kitzbuhel in the novice chase.
PARTY TIME AT BATH
⭕ 2.30 Bath Morning Betdaq Betting Exchange favourite Rating goes well here (form 333) but has yet to win after 17 starts on the flat turf and her official ‘rating’ may need to drop further.
Party Island looks a sensible alternative and comes into this on the back of a good run at Lingfield in a class 4 (class 6 today).
Off a mark of 62 he looks generously handicapped, given his last win came at Sandown off 67. He should also appreciate the forecast firm ground at Bath.
Thapa Vc was attracting some support in the morning trading. He finished fourth in this race 12 months ago and is now 6lb lower. He is another that likes the quick surface but comes into this on the back of a disappointing effort at Wolverhampton last time out.
A SPECIAL REPLACEMENT
⭕ 4.30 Bath My original selection for this Aspull is now a non runner but I rated Special Ghaiyyath as a big danger and he is now promoted to the outright selection.
His two wins to date have come on good to firm and good ground and he now has his first start for his new stable (P Charalambous & J Clutterbuck).
He remains relatively lightly raced and has a consistent record of 22411 on the turf which can be boosted here.
The consistent Candonomore is knocking on the door for another win and his short head second at Yarmouth last week over seven furlongs reads well as he should see out the extra furlong today. He looks the danger.
GOING WITH SKIBO
⭕ 5.20 Lingfield I’m happy to take a chance with Skibo here against the two market leaders who take each other on again after finishing 1-2 over course and distance earlier in the month.
Skibo is having her first start for 256 days and represents the Ralph Beckett yard who are ticking over nicely.
He has always looked as though the 1m 4f trip will suit and was staying on to good effect when last seen at Salisbury last August over 1m 2f.
Wonder goes well here but is now on a career high mark. He was second to Son Of Man over course and distance last time out (the same race that my earlier selection Party Island was third in) and could easily go one better with a 2lb swing in the weights but the price is short enough.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
