SHAMROCK NAPS 6 FROM 10: Shamrock landed another winning nap on Saturday to take his recent run to 6 winning naps from the last 10 (5 odds against).
Marlbrook landed the nap in good style to extend the naps sequence to 6 from the last 10.
He looks a nice prospect after a first win under rules but at 4/9 we didn’t get too rich. The other naps in the sequence however have all been odds against.
Saturday: Stockton’s Wing (NAP) WON 5/4
Sunday: LOST
Wednesday: Follow The Sign (NAP) WON 2/1
Thursday: Bright New Dawn (NAP) WON 6/4
Friday: LOST
Saturday: 2nd
Sunday: Operating (NAP) WON 7/4
Thursday: LOST
Friday: Super Sling (NAP) WON 5/4
Saturday: Marlbrook (NAP) WON 4/9
It’s the last days racing in Ireland before the Cheltenham Festival and not a bad card at Naas to send us on our way.
The feature race is the Naas Directors Plate Novice Chase at 2.40. I think the value here could be with You Must Know Me – assuming he’s over the lameness he suffered after his latest race. Otherwise, the race could be at the mercy of Twinlight who should again beat Dedigout and confirm Navan form.
The vibes are good for the Noel Meade trained Couleur France in the finale. He was a good third on debut at Roscommon and the form has worked out well since.
SHAMROCK’S BETS:
NAP: Couleur France (5.40 Naas)
