CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: There are hard matches, very hard matches and then Arsenal travelling to the Camp Nou needing at least two goals to get past the mighty Barcelona.

Barcelona v Arsenal 7-45
Arsenal face the almost impossible task of going to Barcelona tonight and winning by at least two goals – Barcelona are 1.02 to qualify and who could argue with that. Only one team has beaten Barcelona by two clear goals in the Champions League at the Camp Nou in the last 12 seasons; that was Bayern Munich in 2013. And given that Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 37 games in all competitions, a Spanish record, Arsenal’s task looks worse than impossible! Not a huge amount of value in the match odds here with Barcelona at 1.27, and there isn’t much value in the under/over 2.5 goals market either, games between these sides in the past average well over 3 goals per game, but over 2.5 goals is currently trading 1.4. With Arsenal having to attack, there could be some value in over 3.5 goals, currently 1.99 – but it’s not something that you’d want to lump on as Barcelona could be happy not to extend themselves in the last 20 minutes if the tie has been put to bed.

Bayern Munich v Juventus 7-45
The first leg in this tie was a belter with the sides drawing 2-2, obviously Bayern will be the happier of the two having two away goals heading into the second leg at home. Bayern should be confident, having won their last nine Champions League games at home, scoring a whopping 36 goals and only conceding four. While Juventus are without a win in the last five games v Bayern – a Bayern win looks highly likely here and there may be a shade of value in the 1.43 in the 90 minutes market. Bayern -1.5 goals is trading around 2.2 at the moment and that could be worth backing too with their great record at home.
