GO WITH THE DAQMAN FLOW: Daqman had three consecutive returns from bets in four races at Doncaster yesterday, in which he had form figures of 3112. One of his outsiders, 14-1 Capard King, was beaten a head and a neck. He also had near misses with seconds at Huntingdon and Towcester. The three returns were from:

FOUR DOUBLE WHAMMYS UP: Daqman’s new naps structure of supernaps and premier naps has been on hold. Maybe we’ll get a trouble-free Saturday from the weather? He also wants to continue his run of seven out of nine winning lays and four double whammys (see below).

1.50 Kempton A winner here over 2m on his hurdles debut, Ok Corral is, in his trainer’s words, built like a stretch limo, and bred for a Grand National, so this step up in trip should see him take another step forward.
The snag with giving him supernap status is that, even by Nicky Henderson standards, he is seen very rarely for an eight-year-old, and is clearly a glass horse. Today is just his fifth run in three years.
2.10 Bangor Barton Gift is collecting parking tickets (form 4PP) but comes alive at Bangor. Hot form figures here since breaking his maiden, 2111, including the last two runnings of this race. I took 7.0.
2.25 Kempton This small field bids to throw up a hat-trick of stars after Josses Hill and Politologue.
Last season’s Lanzarote winner, Modus, went odds on this morning but after 2-2 over fences, bombed out on the last day, pushed along and fell three from home at Exeter.
Max Ward’s form has also slumped and Overtown Express would be a rare winner of a graduation chase at the age of 10.
The 6.6 BETDAQ offer King’s Socks was second to Footpad in the French equivalent of the Triumph Hurdle, and was 1221 over fences there. After a wind op, his debut for David Pipe could be a winning one.
QUEST FOR A 40-1 WINNER
3.00 Kempton Jennys Day, down in grade and the overnight punt with the bookies (22-1 > 11-1), held up at 14.5 in exchanges this morning, but he hasn’t won since his maiden, always a bad sign (ditto Cornish Warrior).
If Fly Du Charmil is second favourite, it must be a poor race. The not-so-fly Charmil has not been nearer than 21 lengths in four tries over hurdles.
Smart Boy ran two crackers in class 5 but was 10 lengths off the main prize when raised to this grade on the last day, and was easy to back this morning.
Maybe Broken Quest (5.4 offers) is the one to be on, after first-time tongue-tie saw him slam a big field of losers at Huntingdon.
I shall chance a tilt at the layers with Amron Kali (a stunning 40.0), down a stone since the summer, including his amateur-rider’s allowance. This dual winner last Spring has had a wind op.
3.30 Kempton I put Tintern Theatre in my Fortune Cookies as a future star. He beat a previous Graded winner, Pilgrims Bay, on this course in December, when Brandon Hill was the third horse home (Sir Ivan behind).
Pilgrims Bay has since finished a long way in front of Bigbadjohn at Newbury, giving Brandon Hill a further boost.
Ask The Weatherman bothers me, though, and 6.0 attracts me.
After a long winning sequence of Points and a hunter-chase, he came good in a conventional race at Exeter and can’t be blamed for pulling up in a bog for the Welsh Grand National.
4.25 Bangor Successes for Fin And Game and The Linksman at the start of the year mean that they have to give a chunk of weight to Potterman, who has looked like a winner waiting to happen in big fields at Kempton and Newbury, and was smashed into this morning.
Sadly, less than 50% profit available on the single and we don’t risk less than 70% because we’re looking to a sequential profit (not enough will win to make it worthwhile).
