HOW DAQMAN’S NOVEL BETS MADE 1,000 POINTS PROFIT: Daqman made 1,105 points profit in the 2019-20 Jumps season from six value ways of winning, all tied to novel staking plans. In the next nine Classic days, which bring the return of English racing, he will present secrets of value betting, with analysis of his success and of the programme listed below.

WAKE UP TO THE GAMBLE ON REVELEY RIDE AT MOULINS: Today has mixed cards at Moulins (a central city in the Auvergne) and Bordeaux-le-Bouscat. Follow Daqman’s advice or check out the runners and riders with their trainers in his guide to the top connections in France. He naps James Reveley in the early-mouse opener after an overnight gamble.

⭕ 10.30 Moulins James Reveley landed decent-priced Daqman winners last Thursday and on Tuesday, with Amazing Comedy (won 3-1) and Baxter Du Berlais (won 53-10) in a sequence of 1241022, so it seems we catch him right!

He starts the Moulon meeting in a hurdle then a chase, both for Guillaume Macaire, the nurseryman for English jumpers, in the only NH races on the programme.

Less Nous Rever (10.30) is a pun on ‘laisse nous rever’ (same pronunciation; literally ‘leave us to dream’; in free translation, ‘we can but dream’). ‘Less’ because the dam was called Less Crazy.

The name game is more fun than backing them sometimes. I planned a small punt at 2.75 on BETDAQ, but Less needs more (stake, that is): he’s in to 2.75 favourite.

⭕ 11.00 Moulins Macaire-Reveley could complete a double with the grey Rootster (11.0), but there’s not a lot to recommend him, and more recent form is on parade from Noir Et Rose, Dolut – both winners on country tracks on the last day – and Crack Math.

Irish punters will do a double take when they see Aidan O’Brien’s one-time Dundalk sprint winner, Royal Navy Warship, by War Front out of a Galileo mare, who was a full sister to Arc winner Found.

‘Warship’ is not one to worship but is in a poor race and he has won a chase for new trainer Mickael Seror, who has had three winners in the last 10 days, 29 in the last year.

That’s 29 more than jockey Pauline Dominois. Let’s just hope this is her day and she throws a double six! BETDAQ 6.0.

BACK AND LAY BUT GET ON IN TIME!

⭕ 3.28 Bordeaux Le Bouscat The meeting opens with a chase. Guillaume Macaire might already have had a winner with either or both of Less Nous Rever and Rootster at Moulins.

But this is likely to go to the top team of Francois Nicolle and Angelo Zuliani with Magrudy.

The three leading Jumps trainers, Nicolle (with Magrudy), Macaire (Rickyhatone) and Cottin (Gemystory). are all represented in this race for four-year-olds, though there are just six runners.

Magrudy has won on this track (over hurdles) and on this ground, which offsets the negative: he has to be forcefully ridden and has an ugly head carriage.

Gentleman Rider is the experienced chaser among them, but hasn’t placed yet over fences and fell at Auteuil the last day.

4.35 Bordeaux Le Bouscat I’m looking for a back and lay Spirit Intime, 9.0 on BETDAQ this morning. Likes to lead and jockey Eddy Hardouin is in top form, landing a hat-trick a couple of days ago. Has the one stall to help.

⭕ 5.15 Bordeaux Le Bouscat Device has won 16 of his 27 starts but may need this race before getting back in the winner’s enclosure, after a poor start back.

Fantasia Du Rock (BETDAQ 4.0) is an improver who gets the mares’ allowance for in-form trainer Cottin.
