EUROPA LEAGUE: We preview Thursday’s Europa League games including CHELSEA v MOL VIDI with recommended BETDAQ bets.
QARABAG V ARSENAL
5.55pm Arsenal are a new side under Unai Emery and he seems to have got the winning mentality into his side! They have won tricky away games in the Premier League which is new and while they haven’t had any major fixtures in the last while; they are now on a seven game winning streak! With other teams struggling in the Premier League, perhaps they can break back into the Top Four but for now they will be focused on trying to get to the latter stages of the Europa League. Qarabag faced Chelsea last season and failed to fail the net while conceding ten goals so it’s fair to say that their standard is vastly below the Premier League. Obviously Arsenal have been poor away from home in recent times but we like this new look Arsenal side under Emery and they look too big here at 1.52. They should simply outclass Qarabag.

RED BULL SAIZBURG V CELTIC
5.55pm This should be a good game and it will be very interesting to see how Celtic get on here. Red Bull Salzburg have a 100% record in their domestic league in Austria and this will give us an idea of where Celtic stand in Europe this season. Red Bull Salzburg got off to a winning start in the Group and we can see them continuing their winning run here – Celtic are brilliant domestically however they come up short in Europe and without home advantage we feel they will really struggle here. The home side have been top notch this season and they can prove too strong for this Celtic side.

CHELSEA V MOL VIDI
8pm It has to be said that Chelsea got a very easy Group in this competition and they should notch up another win here with the minimum of fuss. The markets agree, with Chelsea trading as short as 1.11 at the time of writing! It’s fair to say that we will see some of the main Chelsea XI rested for this tie. MOL Vidi come into this clash after losing 2-0 at home to BATE Borisov who only had ten men, and it’s nearly impossible to see anything but an easy Chelsea win here. Chelsea have been very impressive in front of goal under Sarri this season and we expect plenty of goals here – Any Other Home Win (Chelsea to score 4 or more and win) is trading 2.2 in the correct score market and that looks a shade of value.

RANGERS V RAPID VIENNA
8pm Rangers, and Steven Gerrard, who have been absolutely delighted to start their Europa League campaign with a draw against Villarreal. They face an easier task to get three points here and have the pleasure of home advantage too. Rapid Vienna are a mid table Austrian side and Rangers have to fancy their chances of winning here. It will be worth watching this one of the atmosphere if nothing else – this is Ranger first home game in Europe for eight seasons! After seeing how well Gerrard had his side drilled against Villarreal, we feel that Rangers can do the business here against a struggling side – home advantage will be massive here and Rangers good look value at 2.08.
