He now previews Sunday evenings La Liga game between Deportivo and Athletico Bilbao.
Deportivo v Athletico Bilbao
Sunday 18th-Oct-2015 – KO 19.30pm.
With Spain safely through to Euro 2016 it’s back to La Liga action this weekend and a Sunday evening kick off in the north western city of La Coruna. Home side Deportivo host Athletic Bilbao in what on paper looks likely to be tight encounter. Betdaq’s current odds of 2.8 Deportivo 3.25 the draw and 3.0 Bilbao is in line with that possible scenario however for me a home victory looks on the cards.
In La Liga terms, Bilbao don’t have far to travel for this away fixture however it is there overall away form which causes concern for the ‘Los Leones’. Competing in the Europa League is of no benefit and out of seven away games in all competitions this season they have been defeated five times and managed two draws. This is the team the beat Barcelona four nil in Bilbao just two months ago however with just one win in their last five the pressure is staring to build on manager Ernesto Valverde.
Home side Deportivo are in decent form having played seven with just one defeat this season. A home loss to newly promoted Sporting Gijon being the black mark however Sporting are proving to be difficult opponents for most this season. For those looking for a first player to score wager, Deportivo forward ‘Lucas’ is very tempting, already on four goals and looking like a player with a big season ahead.
Athletic Bilbao are struggling to compete at this time with the Europa League being a major distraction and another long journey away to Partzan Belgrade in just four days.
I feel a Deportivo la Coruna home win is a strong possibility and the Betdaq odds of 2.8 make most appeal.
Greg’s Tips:
BACK 4 points ‘Deportivo La Coruna’ to win @2.8
