PREVIEW
Fulham were in Europa League action on Thursday and put in an excellent performance to run out 4-1 winners against Wisla Krakow. However, Martin Jol’s side have not been at their best domestically this campaign with a total of ten points from ten fixtures.
A lot of Fulham’s troubles can be attributed to their inconsistent form at Craven Cottage. Last season any club will have been fearful of playing at Fulham, but they have lost some of that fear factor since August. The midweek victory will certainly have helped confidence in the squad and Andy Johnson will be buzzing after his fantastic strike.
Even with the 4-1 win, Fulham will need to pull out all the stops to beat an in-form Tottenham side. Spurs will be hoping to extend their seven-match unbeaten run which stretches back to their defeat to Manchester City. After his heart operation, Harry Redknapp will be absent from the game as he recovers at home and that’ll mean Joe Jordon will take up the reigns.
Luka Modric and Rafael Van der Vaart are in excellent form and will prove a real handful for the hosts. With the run Spurs are on, it’s hard to see anything but an away win and I’m happy to tip that at around 2.35 on BETDAQ.
