PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with a recommended BETDAQ bet including the televised Bournemouth v Man City and at tea-time Man U v Leicester.
BOURNEMOUTH V MANCHESTER CITY
12.30pm We start this weekends Premier League action with Bournemouth v Manchester City at 12.30pm Saturday, which means all bets are 0% commission on BETDAQ, so let’s find a winner! City would have been disappointed to draw at home with Everton on Monday night, an early red card making things very difficult for them. They still dominated the second half though, and if anything they could have still won the game rather than lose it with only ten men. Bournemouth have started the season slowly, having yet to score in their two Premier League games. They did win 2-1 in the League Cup midweek, however the gulf in class between that competition and City is obvious. We feel that this will be a comfortable away win for City, and the 1.95 on City -1.5 goals looks great value.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Manchester City -1.5 goals to beat Bournemouth at 1.95.

CRYSTAL PALACE V SWANSEA
3pm Both these sides won midweek in the League Cup, however both are still searching for their first Premier League goal after two games. They had tough games last weekend, with Palace losing 1-0 to Liverpool and Swansea 4-0 to United – however the 3-0 loss Palace suffered here on the opening day of the season against Huddersfield sticks in the mind, and they look very short at 1.98 to get all three points here. United picked Swansea apart late on last weekend, however they were pretty solid up until the last ten minutes, and recorded an ok 0-0 draw away to Southampton prior to that. We just feel that this one will be a lot closer than the current odds suggest, and have to lay Palace at odds on.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Crystal Palace at 1.98.

HUDDERSFIELD V SOUTHAMPTON
3pm Huddersfield have started the season superbly, however this should be a step up on their opening two games. Newcastle badly need new members in their squad, and all doesn’t seem right at St James Park at the moment, so maybe it was no surprise to see Huddersfield beat them 1-0 here last weekend. Southampton needed a last minute penalty to put West Ham away, and lost midweek in the League Cup against Wolves – they scored three against West Ham, but really struggled to create chances against Swansea on the opening weekend. Huddersfield should be a full of confidence after their start, and we feel that it’s worth taking a chance with them and laying Southampton at 2.16 – which looks a few ticks too short.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Southampton at 2.16.

NEWCASTLE V WEST HAM
3pm As we noted in the above game, Newcastle have struggled in their opening two games. Losing to Spurs at home is no shame, however if they want to do well this season they have to do to sides like Huddersfield and get a result. This should be a good game, with West Ham playing well against Southampton last weekend, and just losing to a last minute penalty. They were hammered by United on the opening weekend, however it looks like Jose Mourinho’s side will do that plenty of times this season, so we can forgive them that result. Newcastle look really short here at 2.36, and we strongly feel that this one will be a lot closer than those odds suggest, so we’re happy with the Newcastle lay.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Newcastle at 2.38.

WATFORD V BRIGHTON
3pm Watford have started the season very positively, with a 3-3 draw against Liverpool and a smooth 2-0 win away to Bournemouth last weekend. This looks like another great opportunity for three points as Brighton haven’t offered much, especially going forward, in their opening two games. They were totally outplayed by Leicester last weekend, and with Watford’s good home record against the lesser sides last season, we expect a home win here and the 1.99 looks massive.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Watford to beat Brighton at 1.99.

MANCHESTER UNITED V LEICESTER
5.30pm Manchester United have been really impressive on the opening two weekends, however you’d have to say that Leicester will be a step up on West Ham and Swansea, so it will be interesting to see how they get on in this one. The markets certainly expect an easy home win, with United trading as short at 1.34 – that looks very short, almost unbackable, and we’ll have to look elsewhere for value. For those of you who think United can win and score four or more for the third weekend, Any Other Home Win is trading 5.0! The bet we like here though is over 2.5 goals at 1.71 – United have looked like they can score from any position in their opening two games, while Leicester scored three away to Arsenal and then recorded a smooth 2-0 win over Brighton last weekend. Both sides look full of goals, and over 2.5 looks big at the odds.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Over 2.5 goals at 1.71.
